They ask if there are any allergies before you begin to order food and they are able to substitute or make adjustments to a large amount of their menu items if you say you are gluten free. They have special crackers for the hummus or you can order vegetables to use with it. There are a couple items that are pre soaked in soy sauce and cannot be changed, but any other items can have the soy sauce exchanged for tamari sauce when you request it gluten free (includes most of the kabobs, but you have to ask for it!). I started out with the hummus and gf crackers, then there was a date salad that they modified for me to remove anything fried, then I ordered the lamb shank and it requires no substitutions for gluten free accommodation - it was delicious comes in a broth with some potatoes and a side of a mixed rice. For dessert they have a flourless chocolate torte to enjoy. Very impressed overall with the servers attentiveness to the things I could and could not eat. Always coming back to the table to reinforce which of the dishes were safe for me to enjoy. Food was delicious and the atmosphere is great

Rumi’s is one of my favorite places to eat! I’ve never been sick here, and the staff always makes me feel comfortable with modifications and safety protocols.

I love this restaurant, but I get sick every time I eat at this location. I always order the salmon gluten free. However, I think they mistakingly are giving me the wrong one.

As soon as I sat down, the waitress asked me if I had any allergies. She was very understanding and pointed out the few items on the menu that had gluten so I could avoid them. The food was excellent and there were multiple gluten free dessert options too!

Rum I’d used to be excellent about serving gluten free meals. It should be easy for them, but I am not so sure anymore. They make mistakes between taking your order and serving you. I am not sure where the disconnect happens, but it has happened too often lately. Soy marinades?? Flour vermicelli in the rice??? Why? Be direct and clear when you order from them.

I've been there many times with no problems. Most items are gf and they understand gf.

Not much on the menu even has gluten but ask to be sure. Staff was knowledgeable and answered any questions. Food was delicious. We will return!
