We live near this restaurant and it has been a favorite since they opened. When I was diagnosed with celiac, I spoke with the owner. Their gluten-free crust is wonderful. My husband, who is not Celiac, loves it as well. When I order, I always state I have celiac disease and ask them to please use clean gloves, clean utensils and place the pizza on a tray so that it does not slide across the same grates in the pizza oven as the regular pizza crust. I have had very good luck with that. Most of the staff there is very educated but occasionally there are new staff members so I always make sure to mention all of the above. I also order the antipasto salad with the balsamic vinaigrette often, which is gluten-free, and excellent. They do NOT have a dedicated fryer, so unfortunately the amazing pesto fries are a no for those with celiac. Great atmosphere with many consistent staff who’ve been there for years and a friendly, engaged owner.

This is an awesome restaurant but definitely not celiac friendly because there is so much flour in the air. There is no way for them to guarantee gluten free because of all the flour, and the fryer isn’t a gluten free fryer either. But if you aren’t gluten free it’s amazing!!

Their ORIGINAL recipe gluten-free crust is FANTASTIC. Thin crispy wonderful crust. I never feel like the pizza I'm getting there is lesser than what my wheat-eating friends order. Love their pizza with sausage and basil. Such good sauce. Amazing cocktails and nice patio, too, if you have time to spend in-house. I usually order the pizza to carry out.
Yes
This crust is homemade but not very consistent. Sometimes it’s been overdone, sometimes underdone, and definitely lots of cross contamination. It has a very strong taste of whatever flour they use. Typically if I have to go there, I stick with a few plain salad.

If you have celiac disease this place is not safe. They cook the crust in the same oven and on the same surface as gluten pizza. Very slow service, took forever to get food. Will not return.

They make their own crust, and it's good! No Udi's
