Food was delicious. I had oysters and the salmon maryland style. They made sure to check with me about my needs in regards to contamination and opted to pan fry my salmon vs used a shared surface where gluten is also cooked. I didn’t have any reaction.

I understand the risks when eating out. I made sure to discuss my options at length with the waiter and ordered from the gf marked items. However I did get sick here.

This restaurant does NOT have a gluten free menu and the “options” they have are limited.
No
They do NOT have a gf menu as description says. There are a few items on main menu marked with asterisks. And the menu clearly says rice has barley. None of the main entrees were gluten free! Oysters...not my taste. One soup, three salads, two desserts I wouldn't trust..in busy kitchen. I ordered spinach salad with grilled salmon. Waiter entered "celiac and change utensils for cross-contamination". He understood. I saw the order. Then he forgot my salmon. I was very concerned about sending it back for any piece of salmon being piled on. I'm taking my Glutenease 2x to be safe. We came here on our boat. I'm not near home. I'm giving it a yes for celiac friendly, but with reluctance.

Glutened HARD! I even called in advance to make sure they could accommodate me and told the waitress I had Celiac disease. She ended up serving me a blended rice with barley, which I thought was something else until it was too late. The waitress was very apologetic but the manager got incredibly defensive, claiming the mix was labeled gluten free when it wasn't (I know; he showed me the packaging with barley as the second ingredient). I did my best to remain calm and tell him that they needed to stop serving this as a "gluten free" option, but he kept insisting they had done no wrong. I told him that we were leaving and he let us go without paying. I don't think this was an intentional mistake, but it betrays a gross level of ignorance and incompetence. Even if the manager was confused, his kitchen staff should have known better: Celiac 101, don't serve people with Celiac disease wheat, barley, or rye. I would never, ever come back here, both based on their incompetence and the manager's defensiveness as opposed to taking responsibility for his mistake.

We visited on Christmas Eve. Great view, attentive service, solid menu (was a limited menu for the holiday, but plenty of choices for GF and regular folks), and classic ambiance. No problem with parking, and no issues with contamination on the GF front - very good Chilean Sea Bass. Like others have said, can't do 5 stars because of the price for what you are getting with overall food quality, but definitely an enjoyable meal out for us.
Overall a very nice but expensive restaurant with a few gluten free options on their gluten free menu.
