There is no gluten free menu, and I was not 100% confident that my server was knowledgeable, but since I had a good experience here in the past, I decided to pass on torturing her with questions. I had the Macho Salad, and so far so good -it’s the next morning and I still feel ok. The salad was good, and the atmosphere is very nice, but it would be even better if they would make a commitment to a few gluten free offerings.

I informed the server about being Celiac and explained what that meant, and she spoke to the chef to make sure my order was safe. After receiving my order and within minutes of eating, I started becoming sick. I was ill for three days after being “glutened” so when I felt better, I called to find out about what I ordered, and I found out the glaze on the protein I ordered had soy sauce in it! I won’t ever go back here because they may act like they know about Celiac and food allergies, but I can’t trust them when they don’t know that wheat is in soy sauce. I can’t afford the risk of being sick again and wouldn’t want anyone else to have this happen to them.

Staff takes my celiac disease seriously and will check with chef if any question. It seems like their ribs alternate between GF and not GF based on the marinade. So ask every time!!
4 stars because GF options are limited and the food quality varies visit to visit.
Yes
Make reservations. If you sit at the bar and aren't a local you will be ignored. Worst experience we have had in California all week. Food as okay
Not celiac friendly. Say will accommodate but chef is not flexible. Have been in the past with good experiences but have now gone "corporate " and are a formula operation.

Fun restaurant, nice to have fries with a bunless burger. Some vigilance required.
