I work at this restaurant and the managers do not care. The servers do not care. Celiacs are not safe in Ruth’s Chris.
I came here for Valentine’s Day and ended up having to end the date early because of how sick I got. I knew immediately that I had been cross contaminated. By far one of the worst times I’ve ever been glutened. The servers are really nice about it, and will accommodate as best they can, but the issue is in the kitchen.
I emailed ahead for a gluten free meal. I was given a gluten free menu without asking for one on arrival. The server was careful throughout our dinner and I was impressed by the quality of food overall. They have 2 delicious GF desserts - flourless chocolate cake and creme brûlée . Expensive but a luxury GF experience!
A joke! I asked for GF bread and buns - nope. I asked for skewers with no sauce - they sent them, I ate them, then discovered they had soy sauce. Skip it if you are Gf!
They have a gluten free menu. I always order a salad, filet $60, mashed potatoes $15, and creme brulee (they dont seem to have the chocolate cake like they used to). I had no issues however the service we received was awful. It took 25 minutes for someone to even acknowledge our table for drinks/food order, and took 45 minutes just for our salads to come out. We were there celebrating a special occasion with a prebooked reservation so there was no excuse. The food was good but the service was so bad it outweighed it.
My salad came out with fried onions on top; they didn’t realize those have gluten.
