I had the classic breakfast (with potatoes instead of toast) and it was good! The potatoes are fried in a GF fryer.

Had a late breakfast early lunch. Really enjoyed the gluten free bread with the whipped feta, eggs over easy and Avocado.

The GF pancakes are good!! Didn’t get sick. But that was pretty much my only option. They have a couple of gluten free pastries but I didn’t have any

Had the “toast w/ jam + butter”, and asked if they would toast the GF bread on a different pan than the other breads. The waitress was happy to have them do that, and it was super delicious, I had no reaction. They can also do their sandwiches on GF bread - you’ll just want to ask for them to make it on a clean pan to be safe! the cooks are also very nice when they come bring you your food:)

I love this place, particularly during the time of Covid when they’ve got super safe finding spaces in their lanai area and the sheds outside. The gluten-free items on the menu are clearly marked. I love all of them. Their gluten-free bread is among the very best in the city, they are always happy to substitute it for regular gluten-full bread. If you call on Wednesday or Thursday you can pick up a loaf on Friday, Saturday or Sunday. This is not a dedicated gluten-free restaurant. I am not celiac so I have not been bothered. But it’s probably not for people who have celiac.

I used to eat here all the time with no issue until recently when the newer staff is extremely rude when you mention wanting gluten free bread (which is made in house and i’ve eaten here many time without ever getting sick) i’m not sure what changed here but they will almost refuse to serve you if you mention celiacs. they still offer GF with items marked on the menu. eat at your own risk these days I guess… and expect to be turned away if you mention celiacs.

We ended up not eating here. The reviews on this app lead us to believe it would be safe but the waiter was quite clear that no safety precautions would be taken to prevent cross contamination. While I understand no place can 100% promise perfection unless it is all GF, that was not the statement he made. He told me they WOULD place my food onto an unwiped contaminated surface and they would take no precautions. Avoid this place if you are celiac.

Clearly marked gluten free items. Spoke to the girl at the counter and she confirmed fryer doesn’t contain gluten, so we got some potato chips & pickles. Such a cute space with really nice atmosphere. Will be coming back eventually for dinner service!
