Food was mediocre but definitely not celiac safe. I’ve been sick for two or three days now. I couldn’t finish my meal due to seeing non gluten free pancake batter on my French toast. I really wanted to like it too since I’m new to town and it’s so close to my apartment
My best friend and I both come here a lot (multiple times a year for the last couple years) and have never had an issue. She is gluten free, I am a celiac. Of course you should be careful what you order (ie don’t get allow gluten items on your plate) but if you notify the staff they are very helpful. The waiter warned me not to order the gluten free toast as a celiac because there are not designated toasters, so I was very grateful he was knowledgeable about cross contamination.
The food is always really yummy. Order with common sense and you’ll probably be fine.
This is actually no stars. We came here July 2, 2021 with my wedding party after the wedding. My sister and I are very gluten sensitive and saw the good reviews. We were both cross-contaminated. I spent a two hour ride, on my way to my honeymoon, as nauseas and having so much stomach pain. Nothing unusual about my order, they said they could accommodate, it was super busy though. My sister also had a reaction. So unfortunate any day, and extra for me since our first honeymoon stop was CVS. I cannot recommend.
The waitress was very knowledgeable about GF. She told us that the chef cleans the grill for GF customers. The GF french toast with walnuts was amazing! The coffee was delicious, and they offer turkey bacon too. Very happy with our breakfast and the staff.
Great simple healthy diner food options. GF bread available and helpful friendly wait staff willing to make it work as much as they can.
