Incredible experience! The best part was the gluten free starter bread. We had so many choices including dessert that I took my leftovers and had 2 more meals! Will return absolutely. The server double checked every item for us and came back to let us know what needed to be altered if not clearly marked.

We had a great dinner here close to hotel. Steaks were fabulous. GF menu lots of options. We did not ask about fryer we had steak and garlic mashed potatoes which were great. Server was knowledgeable. Went there day 2 they were very nice but you need to know stuff on GF menu is not GF such as bbq sauce on ribs. We made them check which they gladly did and it wasn’t GF which is annoying bottom line if you have Celiac you ask a lot of questions. So don’t assume.

Great menu however waitress was not knowledgable. Asked if fries were cooked in a dedicated fryer and not with foods like chicken fingers. Waitress responded, " yeah, I'm pretty sure of it" I pressed for more information and asked can you check for sure ? She returned and said "no" it is not dedicated and fries are cooked with everything. I dodged a bullet and if I didn't press for more info I'd be hurting now.

Gluten Free options are great. The hamburger bun they use for bread was very soft and good. I ask for another one. The loaded potato soup is also gluten free. Food was excellent

Spoke to a manager on the phone who they do their best (separate color-coded utensils, cleaning the grill, and using a designated area of the grill for GF) to avoid cc. Menu is limited (and due to Covid, three or four meals were not available on the menu), but enough variety to choose from. They use Udi’s buns (not the best out there) for burgers, but it’s better than nothing. The “traditional” burger was very good (I’m not typically a burger person, but it was delicious) and I got steamed broccoli on the side (shared fryer, so fries weren’t an option). No issues whatsoever afterward (sensitive celiac). Great stop along the Riverwalk!

I came here with my parents and informed our waiter of my gluten allergy. They brought me my own loaf of bread (the best GF bread out there), and I was informed the sirloin and mashed potatoes were GF. Our waiter was also extremely knowledgable with the menu options that were GF.

The food was incredible, and we’ll be back.

We went because this app said they have a gluten free menu, they dont. Hostess said our waiter would take care of us. They did bring out GF bread with butter, they were toasted buns but actually very tasty, we asked for more. Ordering is where it got sketchy, our waiter was 100% not knowledgeable with GF, I was researching the internet their items and told him this, he couldnt offer any help. He said the Ceaser salad without croutons would be GF so I ordered that as a side. 3/4 of the way through, I bit into a pc of crouton that was hiding under some lettuce. I look closer and realize there were crumbs in the salad and another tiny piece hiding. THEY HAD JUST TRIED TAKING THE CROUTONS OUT🤬 Manager and waiter profusely apologized and did make it right but Im warning you, this place is NOT celiac friendly

Customer service was excellent. GF menu had many choices of appetizers, salads, and meals. Staff was very knowledgeable about GF needs. They have GF hamburger buns and bread. The bread was very good and I did not have to ask for it. When I ordered, they assured me they would let the manager know and would accommodate my needs in the kitchen. I highly recommend this steak house!

Wow!!! I am celiac and dining out can be both depressing and a chore. Not here! When we walked in I asked the hostess if they had a GF menu and she brought one. When our server came to the table he immediately spotted the GF menu and was ready to go with GF suggestions, including the most wonderful GF “house” bread (complimentary like their regular bread). Best GF bread I have had anywhere! Entire meal was so pleasant and perfect. I had zero reaction and I am extremely sensitive. I will be back as often as I can afford to be!

Separate GF menu. The waiter sent the manager over right away, and he pulled up the current ingredient list right on his phone to tell me what was safe. Very pleased with the care taken with my meal. I have additional allergies on top of celiac to accommodate. Will definitely go again. The salad dressings are made in house. I had ribeye, steamed veggies and a salad and no reaction.

Our waiter was not familiar with celiac disease, but was very attentive and eager to learn to make sure I had a great dining experience. The gluten free bread was excellent and they even brought me separate butter. They have a special gluten free menu that tells you want is safe or what to modify. Just be sure to speak up and tell the waitstaff your needs - otherwise it could be fairly easy to be glutened here.

Ask for a separate GF menu. It’s not much besides steak and a burger, but decent. I asked for oil and vinegar for my salad dressing and the containers were filthy. I’d be wary of touching anything (even salt and pepper shakers). Ive eaten there several times and haven’t gotten sick.

While visiting here in Colorado Springs, we thought we would make a stop in for a steak dinner. This place didn’t disappoint. She immediately suggested GF bread for me, with a nice honey butter I might add, and I had much to select from. I would eat here again.

Overall I’ve had good experiences here. My only problem has been with the salads. Once the waitress noticed a crouton crumb, and I found them on a different occasion. I don’t know if the kitchen staff puts them on, then notices that my order is gf and just picks them off or if the salad area is a mess and crumbs end up in the lettuce. I no longer order salads there.

Zac was treated like a King at Salt Grass tonight by our waiter Nate!

I hadn’t eaten there in a long time, but me and my in-laws were looking for something different. With Zac’s dietary restrictions we have be cautious where we eat.

So I pulled up my “Find Me Gluten Free” app and saw that Salt Grass offered gluten free options. He loves steak so I said great! Let’s do it.

Well you know a lot of steak houses have bread and so does Salt Grass. When the waiter brought the bread out I told Zac he can’t eat it. The waiter looked at me confused and I explained he has to eat gluten free. He responded “Well we have gluten free bread would you like me to bring him some?” You can see from the pic above that Z was in heaven!

Then he automatically brought me the gluten free menu without having to ask. Their menu even had kids choices on it and it included steak! I am so used to ordering him an adult meal in order to accommodate his needs.

The sides were mashed potatoes and French fires. Nate explained that the fries are not gluten free so he offered veggies and I asked if they had fruit (which I didn’t see on the menu). He said “I can cut up strawberries, apples and oranges for him. Zac said “Can I have apples?!?!”

Well he brought him warm apples with cinnamon because they didn’t have plain apples like he thought. The waiter said “If he doesn’t like it I can get him something else”. But Z loved it!

I mean I never had a waiter or waitress be so accommodating to my son.

In Irving Texas wanted a non spicy place to eat . I was able to have a Caesar salad no croutons waiter it was very very helpful and understanding. Had a ribeye with no sauce or juice very good. Garlic Mashed . Only GF dessert is ice cream . Went back Sunday night , only issue was the kitchen put croutons and a Caesar salad. I was lucky to see it stopped eating it in. Did try the gluten-free bread which was very good

Very knowledgeable staff. Only issue was potato soup was listed as GF. Manager came out and explained that it was made with a chicken based broth that had small amounts of gluten so if Celiac I should not order. I appreciated their care and knowledge. Good was excellent. If the soup was not on GF menu I would have given a 5.
