We visited tonight and two of us are celiacs. I explained this to the server and said we have a gluten allergy (since most people in Fulshear don't seem to understand what celiac is). She said she understood and would let the kitchen know. They had the gluten-free menu available. We ordered 2 dishes from that menu. They brought out my salad and it had croutons, so I sent it back. When the main entrees came out, one plate had fries on it (not on the gluten-free menu due to cross-contamination in shared fryers). We sent that dish back to be remade. The manager delivered the corrected dish after the rest of us were nearly finished eating. I expressed to the manager how having 2 mistakes like this for allergy related food orders is really concerning. He proceeded to make excuse after excuse saying how "most" people who visit that are gluten-free eat the fries without issue. I said, well celiacs aren't "most people" and had to explain the risk from the shared fryers to the manager! This is ridiculous. Beware eating here if you are a celiac. I'm hoping that I don't come down sick from any other contamination that may have been on my dish that I couldn't see since they clearly aren't concerned with following any protocols to reduce risks here. Never returning. The steak was prepared well, but overall I'm afraid to return.
Food was very good! I got the cheeseburger with a gluten free bun. The bread tasted great and didn't fall apart like most gf buns do! The waiter was very kind and informative and brought me gluten free bun bread to the table when bringing my family regular bread. I definitely recommend this place and will 100% be coming back!
