We went during lunch and the view was great. Food was okay but for sure have gluten free options. They do have a parking lot which is nice if you are driving thru Portland. I think this would be a good dinner place. Pricey tho.

Many gluten free options including fried fish, clams, shrimp. Menu is mostly fish and seafood. Dedicated fryer. Good service. Amazing views.

Have been there many times, food ok but pricey. View is fabulous. Disappointed last time.. had fish stew and was sick as a dog…took me 3 weeks to recover 🤢

Beautiful view, slow service, ok food. Many GF options (my 10 year old has Celiac), but food was just ok. Chicken Caesar salad was just a plate of iceberg lettuce doused in dressing, and a dry chicken breast on top. Steamed lobster was good (a little small), but rice on side was inedible. GF calamari and GF Bang Bang Shrimp was good and nice to have for a change. Got nice pics with the view but would have just rather stayed in the old Port area and found a restaurant there.

The server either didn’t hear me or didn’t know what celiac was, thinking I was talking about a shellfish allergy. But once corrected he assured me that the fish and chips was a great choice and I agree! It was delicious. Lots of clearly marked choices for a lovely meal.

Great food. Everything fried is gluten-free. Such a rare find these days. Definitely recommend the fried haddock. Great service, too

Wonderful food. Nice view of the bay on outside deck. A bit pricey and the portions were on the small side, but well presented, creative and filling. GF items clearly marked. Waitstaff was very knowledgeable and friendly and made sure to verify any questions about safety etc. with chef without needing to be asked. I even had a personal fresh blueberry cobbler made with a GF topping that was mostly ground roasted sunflower seeds etc so even if you have an issue with oats you can still enjoy a dessert. Was full and happy at the end of the meal which almost never happens when I eat out. Felt very safe. Highly recommend for a nice night out.

Salt Water Grille was our first meal in Maine en route to Acadia. I was blown away! First legit plate of fresh haddock fish and chips in over a decade. It wasn’t crappy breading either it was thick and perfect, flaky fresh fish. Amazing oysters and fried calamari- everything fried is celiac safe!!!!!!

The absolute best restaurant of our entire trip! All of their fried foods are Gluten free! We were told that only 2 things on their menu had gluten (chicken tenders and rolls). Our server, Andrew, was fantastic and very knowledgeable about gluten free. The food was phenomenal, I highly recommend the calamari! 5 stars is not enough to rate our visit!

Excited to find a place with GF fried seafood. They’ve stopped carrying the fried clams however due to dramatic increase in the cost of them. Had fish and chips instead, very good and decent portions (which was appreciated since it is not an inexpensive place). Bonus is the scenic waterfront seating.

I have never reviewed on this website but have used it often so I was quite disappointed at how off the reviews were. This is a classic harbor tourist trap-expensive and mediocre food. There is no way they have dedicated GF space. Even the lobster was unclean. I would try a more local only spot

This place was so great! In addition to being gluten free, I have numerous food sensitivities. The waiter was so helpful and I could completely customize my meal. The steak was delicious and my husband loved his meal, too. What a treat!
very nice, limited gluten free menu, knowledgeable staff.

Food was awesome and server was very knowledgable about cross contamination. I had no issues (I'm celiac) and we had a delightful meal! Also, the views are killer.
Had a birthday gathering here and all guests were thrilled with the dining experience. GF items are marked on the menu and I had no ill effects after a very satisfying meal and dessert.
