They can do a few dishes that are safe for celiac, the rest of their gf options have cross contamination
— Somewhat
— No gluten-free information on the menu
— Not Much/None
— Excellent
There are multiple items marked GF on the menu, but they aren’t for Celiacs. Shared fryer for cross contamination of corn tortilla chips and yucca. Plantains also are contaminated because they are cooked on the open top where sandwiches are grilled. The server was able to tell me this information once I asked more detailed questions; unfortunately, the appetizer I ordered I was originally told was gluten free and upon its arrival and asking additional questions, I learned it was not safe to eat. I didn’t get sick because I was proactive, but I want others to know not to trust the markings on the menu. I was disappointed to have the initial impression of so many choices only to learn they were more limited when I placed my order.
This is a magical place, where my children cleaned their plates and the gluten-free dessert was awesome.
