Excellent gluten free pizza! Made in a separate room with GF utensils even. Service was great! Only issue is my husband wants to drive the three hours to get this pizza next weekend.
Most items on the menu are gluten free or can be made gf. They seem to understand what celiac disease is about, though like most pizza restaurants they don’t guarantee there’s no cross contamination.
Great place to eat
Maybe we caught them on an off night. Our gluten free pizza was very undercooked. Also we ordered a gluten free salad and they brought out one with croutons. After we mentioned it she was quick to apologize and bring out a new salad.
I was gluttenned. Based on the reviews, I thought this might be a safe place to eat for lunch with co-workers. I was wrong. You get the usual "we cannot guarantee" on the menu. When I spoke to the cashier (they have no waitresses", she seemed pretty confused. She did ask questions like can I have onions, bacon, etc. The chef also spoke with me and asked if I can eat red peppers. And yes, I knew I was in trouble, but I was hoping for the best. Well, I was hit, but not majorly. It seemed the two employees tried to do the right thing (hence two stars instead of one), but this is clearly a failure of management to provide training for providing gluten free fare, if that is their goal.
We got an over priced ($17) less than grocery store frozen pizza quality 12 inch pizza. The entire table ordered gluten free, so there should have been no confusion, and yet our salad came out with croutons.
Pizza is great and the servers are always friendly except one of the owners who serves frequently. My family never eats there anymore because of her very obtuse nature. Which eliminates one of very few gf options for us. NOT something we do lightly as we have a gf five year old who is very picky. we tried several times after the extremely rude service and used to go there often until we started getting her as our server. So, food is good and menu is very clear. Servers are great and very accommodating except for the one.
We buy GF pizza for our celiac 2-yr-old here at least once a month...by far his favorite pizza! Several visits and no indications of having been contaminated. And the wait staff is super friendly!
The pizza was the best I've ever had! They have a large gluten free menu and take extra precautions to make sure there is no cross contamination! I was also able to enjoy their gluten free chicken nachos! I would recommend this for anyone with Celiac!
Excellent GF combo pizza. They use Udi's crust & bake it on a pizza stone, so the crust was crispy & very good. No other specified GF items, but there are burgers w/o a bun, etc. a specialty GF 12" pizza was $17.49. Cheese was $12.49.
So yummy! Everyone in our party got gluten free pizza. It was a delicious crust with a sweet sauce on it. Best pizza out thus far. I wasn't sick and no one that went with could tell it was gluten free. Lots of topping options. Very, very good!
Best Gluten Free Pizza in town! The down side is you can only order the pizza in a 10" size. The sauce is great and the topping are fresh! They offer a wide selection of other gluten free options also. The service is exceptional and would recommend this restaurant to anyone!
The menu was very clearly marked with what was GF. I had no trouble ordering. The staff seem very knowledgeable about GF. My pizza was cooked and severed on its own metal pan to avoid cross contamination. The pizza was good. It was a thin crust.
The gluten free pizza tastes just as good as their regular pizza (which I had a couple times prior to going gluten free) but they only come in 1 size and are pretty pricey. I was still hungry after just the pizza. If I ever go back I'll have to get a salad in order to actually feel satisfied, which will mean the meal will cost $20. At that rate I might as well just go to a steakhouse.
Good experience, although we were a bit worried when our waitress told us we could get any size (even a slice) of GF pizza. Since we eat often at other Sam & Louie's we were pretty sure GF was only available in one size. Another worker came to our table & explained there was only ONE size GF Pizza. The pizza was good.
Their pizzas are tasty, even without cheese (I'm dairy-free). Prior to going dairy-free, I had the Chicken Bacon Ranch pizza--can we say yum?! Only drawback? Costly. They have a great birthday deal though, so be sure to sign up for that.
