Chips are fried in fresh oil before anything else at start of the day. I was skeptical because I am so sensitive to cross contamination and was scared of the “shared fryer” situation, but they truly take all measures to prevent it and I am confident in their system! They worked with me to make sure I can modify the meal I wanted to eliminate the gluten containing ingredients. Most times I’ve been here I’ve noticed it can be hard getting direct answers from servers/chefs and have to play 20 questions, but at the end of the day I’ve never left sick or disappointed! Highly recommend, it is worth any hassle!

Excellent experience! They started the meal asking if there were any food allergies and when I told them I had celiac they offered options. The gluten free items were marked on the menu as well. Delicious!

This was a great experience. They were very concerned about being gluten free. They had many of options on the menu for gluten free. Food was delicious. Would definitely recommend stopping there when you are in Epcot.

Chips are GF. Had a lot of options, menus are clearly labeled. Overall great food. Myself and sister are celiac and neither of us got sick.

Our server Oliver was wonderful! He was attentive at all the right times, helpful with our gluten and soy allergy options and even got something they didn’t have from the restaurant adjacent. Great margaritas with fresh citrus juices, soda water and a tequila he loved. It was in deed a tasty tequila. I had the chicken and poblano dish, Scott had the ribeye tacos and the kids had corn tortilla quesadillas, with corn and rice accompaniments. The food was pretty good. We were told chips were gf. The salsa was terrible and the chicken was a bit dry, but the service and drinks were great and the sauces were tasty. The ambiance is so lovely for a family or it would be great for friends or date night. Good experience overall!

Absolutely amazing meal. The chips were freshly made and high quality; salsa and queso was fantastic. The ribye tacos were the best tacos I've ever had; the meat, bacon, and cheese combo was mouth-watering. The enchiladas were amazing as well; super packed and flavorful. Even things not labeled gf can be accommodated to be so. Highly recommend!!!

Just about everything on the menu could be modified gluten free, including things not marked with the GF icon. The chips are safe to eat. Really tasty chicken mole!

We ate at the San Angel Inn at Epcot yesterday. The menu has drastically changed since our last visit in January. The chips were not gluten free due to a shared fryer. The only appetizer available was soup. The $22+ tacos (3) come without any sides. My son ordered enchiladas (not gf) and they had no sides either. Check current menus before you go and call ahead. Chef never came to our table.
Food was great and they seemed to understand cross contamination issues when asked BUT...I am giving 3 stars because they brought over chips and I happened to ask if they were GF and they said, "well they are in shared fryers"...um. So no! They also list their tortilla soup as GF on the menu, but after the waiter checked, it is not because there are chips in it from shared Fryers. Ugh. A Mexican restaurant with no chips... anyway, the food was great and after we asked the server the right questions, we got a safe meal.
