You can’t find the gluten free menu online anywhere but it exists! You scan a QR code once you are there. TONS of options and really good authentic food, not touristy at all. It’s a nice restaurant so dress nice. Service is amazing. Staff was knowledgeable about celiac and my dairy allergy as well. 10/10!!! MAKE RESERVATIONS AHEAD OF TIME

Santaella was incredible. Labeled gluten free menu. The server let me know that they keep a dedicated fryer free from gluten. I was able to eat fried tostones!!
Everything was delicious including the cocktails. Pricier meal, but worth it.

I got a reservation here cause I was told the staff were excellent about celiac, but it was a much more anxiety producing experience than I expected. My server was very confused about celiac and gluten, even when I explained i was avoiding wheat, barley, and malt. I got the tomato salad with Parmesan ice cream which was incredible. I ordered the tuna skewers which I kept being told was GF, but my husband said he definitely tasted soy sauce on it. We asked the server to check with the chef and they said “it’s teriyaki so it’s fine”. But as we know, most teriyaki has gluten. My husband said it did not taste like tamari so I avoided it. Then we got the corned beef plantain casserole dish to split and it was amazing! Imagine a corned beef lasagna but instead of noodles for layers it’s plantains! All the cocktails were amazing! I’d say just be aware and order foods that seem to be naturally gf

My 16-year-old son has celiac and we had an amazing meal. Best sea bass I have ever had. Our table of 4 had 3 appetizers, specialty drinks, and a main course all gluten-free and he did not get sick. He is super sensitive and he would have been sick if they cross-contaminated the food. It was expensive but so worth it. Don't be thrown off by the exterior, it's pretty inside and great service. Just bring a sweater because they crank the AC. We are going again!
A few things we ate: Ahi Tuna Tacos, Sea Bass, Watermellon Mojito (virgin)....a few others

No gluten free menu but the staff was able to identify which items were gluten free. We had the trifongo, hen of the woods mushroom appetizer, cauliflower salad, and pork shank. Everything was delicious and I did not get sick after eating here.

This place was out of this world. My boyfriend said it was the best meal he’s ever had (got the special baby octopus) and I had the salmon which is sell my soul for. Definitely make reservations as they were packed on a Wednesday night.
This was the first place in San Juan that clearly marked their menu for gluten free items. The wait staff were all knowledgeable of which items were safe for me to eat. More importantly, the food was DELICIOUS! I had the alcapurrias for a starter and shrimp with trifongo and a cream sauce for my main dish. I would highly recommend it and will definitely eat here again on our next trip to Puerto Rico.

This place was a little confusing at first. We thought we found a gluten-free menu online for here, but they did not have one when we showed up for dinner. With that said, they understood our needs, and the server and manager were very accommodating. My dish, the pork shank, was very delicious. My girlfriend’s dish, the trifongo, however, came with an overly salty sauce. The rest of the dish she enjoyed very much.
