One of our favorite places in Key West! Large selection of gluten free options and all were delicious. Loved the shrimp bisque, carpaccio, bacon wrapped dates, and chicken skewers. Service was outstanding.

We had very high hopes for this placed based on all the great reviews. We were sadly disappointed. Worst meal we had during our stay in KW. So bad that I sent some back. Hubby had the rack of lamb, requested it medium rare. It was beyond well done and the outside was burnt. We split the beef carpaccio; which was ok, but it was covered with so much onion and capers that that was all you could taste. My plate of brussel sprouts was SO awful I sent it back after one bite. It was just swimming in oil. Our server Chris was nice and handled our complaint in stride, but boy we were SO glad we didn't bring our family here during their visit. We would have been embarrassed. WAY too many other places in KW that will blow your socks off. We will not go back.

GF menu provided. Staff asked questions of manager and chef when unsure of answer regarding whether fryer was dedicated or not. The answer is no-they do not have a dedicated fryer. Our server made sure to ask if GF menu was out of preference or Celiac and commented that sage food handling accommodations are made in the kitchen to reduce risk of cross contamination The GF menu options are limited but the beef tenderloin and chicken skewers and wedge salad were very tasty. We did not have the flourless chocolate cake but did see it listed on the GF menu.

Omg the food is to die for! The plates are small and between me and my husband, we ordered 5 tapas. Each dish was perfectly made and sooo flavorful. One of the best restaurants I have been to. Staff was knowledgeable and double checked the ingredients. Our server advised us to avoid couple of tapas with blue cheese just to be safe. The flourless chocolate cake in the end was the best finish to an already amazing meal. It’s GF, try it out!

Great small plates. We come here at least once during our yearly trip. I’ve never been sick in my 4 visits.

The fun thing about this place is the items come out at different times. So the salad comes out, 10 min later the mushrooms, 5 min later the next, etc. Makes for a great dining experience.

The beef tenderloin is killer! We’ve ordered it twice on the same night. :) The bacon wrapped mushrooms are excellent too.

The food was good and my celiac daughter didn't get ill so it's fine in that regard. However, while we were eating dinner the waitstaff were eating at the counter and cleaning/wrapping the silverware at the same time. For that alone, I wouldn't go back or recommend it to a celiac because the risk of using contaminated utensils was obvious and high.

Love this place! Went late afternoon before the dinner rush. Place was empty when we arrived so we were a little cautious but it filled up quickly and there was a wait when we left. We asked for the gluten free menu and the waiter was very knowledgeable and helpful. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. We loved the small plates so we could try many items. What a treat! We will go back when we are in the keys.

We had such high hopes but, despite the separate GF menu and quizzing, something snuck in. When I called for a reservation I specifically noted the gluten free requirement and the person I spoke to was very enthusiastic about being able to accommodate. The food was delicious but my husband developed his typical symptoms later in the evening - we did not stop anywhere else for any other food. We had the spinach salad, the tuna ceviche and the brussel sprouts. We suspect either the salad or the sprouts. The salad had some kind of glazed walnuts and we didn't press about them - I recall now seeing a review of another restaurant specifically mentioning this type of thing but it was too deep down at the time. The tuna ceviche was not the problem as it was very simple. Hard to know about the brussel sprouts - they were roasted - it looked like pan roasted - and had some other stuff in the dish which was hard to see precisely. Very disappointing and has cast a pall on our whole trip. The food was delicious but I can't recommend as a reliable GF destination. We are recommending to our no-GF friends, however.

The gluten free items are marked on the menu so that is very helpful. I usually don't feel great after eating here though. I'm not sure if it's from cross contamination or what but it's so delicious that it's almost worth it.

Hands down my favorite place in Key West to eat! Amazing GF hot and cold tapas options, plus an awesome GF chocolate cake!!! Knowledgeable staff, definitely make it a point to visit Santiago's! Tip: Be sure to make reservations as it tends to get busy and hard to get in without one!
