We visited Jan 23. Chef came out to speak with us. We had 3 people in our party with food allergies, including Celiac. Very accommodating. Food was excellent. After dinner, we went around the corner and got the gluten free, dairy free beignets. The same chef helped us. The beignets were excellent and best of all, my son did not get sick. Highly recommend.

Start at the mobile order station. The chef came out and gave us a tour of the food court and let us know what we could have from each section and personally cooked all items to be safe. We had breaded chicken tenders and shrimp and grits. Both were very good. The experience overall was excellent

This restaurant is simply amazing!!! The gluten-free options are more than plentiful, ranging from beignets, to chicken fingers, to rice bowls. The staff is very knowledgeable, and the chef spoke to me personally about options. Worth going out of the way for!

This is really a good place for gluten-free at Disney French Quarter resort. Breakfast items are available including waffles. For dinner one evening I had a shaved roast beef sandwich with provolone on a gluten-free hoagie roll and au jus with french fries. French fries are in a dedicated fryer.

The beignets at Scat Cat next door are worth every penny. Ask for GF and you won’t be disappointed. So good!

Ok food, I visit New Orleans a lot and was a little disappointed in my muffaletta, but happy they had gluten free bread. However the GLUTEN FREE BEIGNETS made up for it. I'd definitely return. In general, all Disney restaurants are beyond phenomenal when it comes to food allergies. My week at Disney was my first vacation where I didn't get glutened.

We ate every breakfast and one lunch here, and every time we treated with respect and care. Usually when you tell the staff you are GF, They ask you to wait for the chef, who will come out and personally take your order. This means it takes longer, but we felt safe with my daughter's meals and they offered her options. Most mornings Chef Jenn came out, and after a day or two she remembered us and would do everything she could to give my daughter an amazing experience. Her kindness also gave my daughter, a recent celiac diagnosee, the confidence to start ordering for herself, asking questions about the menu, and handling things on her own. The GF beignets are not Mickey shaped but are delicious. The pancakes (available in plain, blueberry, or chocolate chip) are also delicious. They do not have GF biscuits or pastries, and the GF Mickey waffles have a distinct cornmeal taste. Overall great experience with lots of options and friendly, caring chefs.

the gluten free beignets are amazing! took a little bit of time compared to the regular ones, but they are well worth the wait. also had a dedicated fryer for french fries & other allergy friendly foods. the chef was very helpful to make sure i was able to get exactly what i wanted for dinner that was safe for all my allergies.

Unfortunately, the selections for meals offered here largely depend on the willingness of the chef to make your gluten free food. Sometimes, we’ll go and have excellent offerings from an enthusiastic and trustworthy chef. Other times, we’ll go and be offered few choices from a chef who does not seem to want to bother.

When I went to a staff member about my allergy they went and got the chef for me. I ordered the beignets and the mickey waffles (how can a celiac deny the opportunity for both these!). The food was made in the back and was packaged with an allergy pick on it. Amazing food!! Didn’t get sick and wish that I could have eaten it for my whole trip!

We were very excited to get to try the gf beignets. They were yummy but a little dense.

The GF Mickey waffles were good! The beignets were good but be warned they are pretty heavy (also, cinnamon flavored).

Staying at French Quarter, this is the go-to place for quick dinning. I have eaten here twice, once getting a bacon cheese burger on GF bun with fries, fried separately, and second time getting the beignet ice cream sunday. Both times I spoke with the chef on duty telling they about my gluten "allergy" and that I had celiac. Both chefs said they take precautions against cross contamination. I tested each meal with my Nima Sensor and it reported no gluten found both times. Looking forward to trying the shrimp and grits next...

Spoke directly with the chef and she advised that she would take my order and prepare it herself. I've never had a beignet before so had to order those. We ordered the shrimp and grits -which was DELICIOUS- and the jambalaya, which was okay. It was pretty good if you mixed the two together 😜 The beignets we're pretty good. The chef gave us two different sauces -a strawberry and a caramel- I preferred the caramel sauce. The serving sizes were a good size so I'm not sure how I managed to eat the beignets too.

We have visited this food court more times than we can count. Over the years, service and choices have gone downhill. On our recent visit, I expressed concern to the chef because he took the mashed potatoes from the service area for everyone else. He told me it was a new pan and they are careful. When I went for another item, there was mac 'n cheese ON TOP OF the mashed potatoes.

Absolutely amazing! We came right as breakfast was ending and we still were able to order some GF waffles! As soon as I said allergy they brought the chef out and he took my order and brought the food out to our table with a wooden "stake" stating it was an allergy tray. And the GF beignets!! OMG they are to die for!! AMAZING!

The chef comes out and asks what you want to eat and then tells you if it can be made gluten free. This is difficult with kids as sometimes they can't be put on the spot to make a decision or are disappointed if what they want can't be made gluten free. We got a hamburger and fries. The burger was probably the best we had in all the Disney restaurants. The real jewel are the beignets. They are to die for! Go just for these!!

O.M.G!!!! I was starving during our three hour drive. We get to our resort, French Quarters, and immediately walked out of the food court. Thankfully, looking up the app, this place Was GF Friendly after all!! Must come. Walk up to counter and ask for GF. The chef will come out and make your food. My bf and I shared a burger on a GF bun, chicken tenders (which were soo good), pizza (personal, dough could be better.. still good though), and best of all GF French Fries!! All cooked in 10 min. Love this app and especially this restaurant!!

So after reading everyone else's reviews, I got the gluten free chicken parm Po Boy and gfree beignets. Soooo good. Both just fantastic, and didn't even taste gfree.

The only tricky thing is there's no menu displaying any of this info, so you have to ask one of the food prep folks and they'll get a chef to do it for you.

Went late afternoon today for some beignets and to get some lunch for my daughter. There are a lot of gluten free options available here. They seem to have a wonderful system in place and the chef understood and it couldn't have been a better experience. We each got an order of 3 beignets and my daughter had the chicken strips and fries. The chef said they have a dedicated fryer. The beignets were wonderful. My daughter thought the gf chicken strips were the ones they did serve at Columbia Harbor House in MK several years ago. We asked for some ranch to dip her chicken strips in and the chef returned with a package of Ken's and he said he had read the ingredients and he didn't see any problems. We told him that we used Ken's at home and the bottle is generally marked gf. I have uploaded the current allergy menus and pictures of our food from this meal. We will be back during our next stay in a couple of months,

Gluten. Free. Beignets. Who knew such a magical thing existed?! In typical Disney fashion, I told the server I had an allergy and they brought out the chef. He was also more than accommodating with my dairy allergy, and I ate all six beignets in less than 24 hours. They were warm and chewy -- something unheard of in the gluten-free world. Such a kind chef and such a delicious treat!

A definite must! This was the best quick service meal I had at Disney. The chef - Paul - went through all my options, and made an amazing chicken parm po'boy for me. Two in fact since he felt the gf buns were too small for only one! And yes, I obviously had the freshest beignets for dessert.

I lived in New Orleans for three months and could not once find a gluten free beignet, but I came here and finally got to try a beignet for the first time in my life! AMAZING! So good. I completely get the experience. You absolutely must try it. Other than that it is a typical Disney breakfast buffet- which is still great for the gluten intolerant. They have a gluten free menu printed out plus the chef will come out and talk to you. Other gluten free options include Mickey waffles, toast, and muffins, plus everything else you would expect like bacon and eggs.

Was so excited about the beignets but was very disappointed. They had a strange smell and after taste to them. They must have been fried in olive oil or some other oil with a very strong taste. Wouldn't have them again. I do have to give three stars though because there were several gf options (chicken tenders, sandwiches) and I always appreciate any place that has things I can eat.

A quick service food court type atmosphere. If you go up to the counter and identify yourself with allergies, they immediately send the Chef to discuss food options. The Chef personally hands you the prepared meal. Lots of GF options. My girls did not like the GF pizza crust, but the Enjoy life cookie added to the meal made up for it.
