The Thai food here is wonderful, even if the selection is somewhat small. They try their best to accommodate gluten-free folks, as one of their staff is celiac. Unfortunately, the selection went down considerably after covid-19 happened. There is outdoor dining, but I highly recommend avoiding it.

Staff was very knowledgeable about gluten. We ordered Chicken Satay and then he said that they do not have separate fryers so that won’t be safe. He said that due to a shortage they had glutened soy sauce but if I told him that I needed GF soy sauce it would be made that way. Food was delicious and did not get sick!

This is good (if not great) thai food but be careful what you order. They think that their Chicken Satay is glutenfree (it's marked that way on the menu) but they fry it in the same fryer and oil as egg rolls (not spring rolls but the egg rolls with wheat wraps) and other wheat-breaded items. I eat here a lot actually but can only give it the 3 stars due to items being mislabeled. I am allergic to raw tomato and it's not always listed on the menu item so I have learned to always let them know about it. I do fine with the red curry, the silver thread salad, and the silver thread stir fry, but I think they sometimes get the pad see yew wrong - as in they use the wrong soy sauce or something. So I would recommend avoiding anything with the dark soy sauce in it as I don't think the chefs always get it right.

Buildings sketchy. Food was luke warm. Broccoli tasted like dish water. Already feel sick.
Wide variety of gluten free options, and I did not get sick.
Interior is dated, which made me worry a bit about dated allergy-awareness, but the server knew what celiac was, remembered not to give me a fortune cookie, and made sure my food was safe.
They did put tomatoes in the sweet and sour chicken though, which is weird.

Many, many gluten free menu items. I hope to stop by again next time I'm in St. Cloud!

There are so many gluten free options! My whole family, including the kids, loved the food. It was quiet on a Sunday at noon. We had excellent service. We will definitely go back, if in the area again.

great food, most of the menu is gluten free. they are clearly labeled, make sure to know their spice rating
Sawatdee has some great GF menu choices! My husband had the GF Sweet Green Chicken Curry, which was wonderful!! And I had the GF Rama Thai Delight, which was just as wonderful! It had a peanut curry sauce, so flavorful! We travel for business very frequently & will make sure we stop by Sawatdee when in the areas they are located!
