Terrible experience. Advertised having gluten-free gnocchi on the menu, which I presumed meant that they were accommodating to Coeliacs / people with a gluten intolerance. Upon sitting down, I asked for the GF options to be asked if my allergy was “serious”, to which I said “yes it’s an autoimmune disease”. I was then told that by the waitress that she couldn’t take my order because I was coeliac and they have an “open kitchen”. I asked for further clarification on what she meant and explained that I am okay with it being an “open kitchen” as long as she can advise me which dishes actually contain gluten (as there is somewhat of an assumed risk of cross contamination in any restaurant kitchen). She then just gave me a blank stare and told me that she couldn’t take my order. Myself and the other five guests then left and went somewhere else. Not very accommodating or helpful at all. Don’t be mislead by the advised “gluten free” options on their menu - what’s the point in offering them if you won’t actually accommodate gluten free people?
— Not at all
— No gluten-free information on the menu
