OH MY! Their gf buns are made by Udi's. Even though the sandwich doesn't quite taste like a Schlotzsky's original, it is very yummy!
The location I went to didn’t have gluten free bread. It was very expensive and it was just a deconstructed sandwich. The fries were not in a dedicated fryer.
my wife has always loved Schlotzky's and was deviststed when she had to go GF...she almost cried when she saw that they have GF bread so she can enjoy Schlotzky's once again.

Very accommodating! It was wonderful to be able to eat a sandwich. Staff is knowledgeable. I have the #2 and plain chips or the potato soup.
Not bad for gluten free, but… IF you want a good experience make sure to order without mustard, mayonnaise, & such. It’s the biggest source of contamination or cross contamination. I add it when I get home, since I started doing this I haven’t been glutened.
I was initially skeptical about dining at a chain restaurant, but I was pleasantly surprised—it was great! They prepared our food in a completely separate area and took all the necessary precautions. The manager was excellent at answering our questions, and best of all, I didn’t get sick. Overall, a great experience!
The manager personally made my sandwich and made sure there was no cross contamination. They didn’t cut my sandwich to insure safety. He even made suggestions for my next visit on soups and gf pizza.
They have gluten free bread for their sandwiches and the chips are gluten free. I didn't get sick after eating here.
