Today I had the pizza and a pastrami sandwich with Udi’s crust & bun. Pizza was good but very basic (you can get better GF pizzas out there but this would suffice if in a hurry or not other places nearby). The bun though....... so far this is the most like regular bread I have had... I was thinking, are you sure this is GF?! Super delish!
They have GF pizza crusts, buns, garlic breadsticks & chips
Sometimes I just want a sandwich and Schlotzsky's has it figured out. GF (Udi's) buns and pizza crusts. GF sandwiches are prepped specially and come out wrapped to distinguish them from regular sandwiches.
I’ve missed Schlotzsky’s for such a long time and now they have certified Udis products available and said that they actively changes gloves. The Turkey original was everything I remembered and more. They only items not GF are the BBQ sauces and the BBQ chips. I’ve eaten here twice now and haven’t had any reactions.

I had a sandwich on a gluten free bun and it was amazing! The bun was soft, and didn’t fall apart. I think they use Udis brand bread. I was told all pizzas are also available on gluten free crust as well. I did not see any protocols for preventing cross contamination so I would keep that in mind if that’s a concern for you.

This restaurant may not be good for celiacs. I ate the juicy cheddar sandwich. It tasted good going down but I had a bad stomach ache later that evening, which is a symptom of my illness.
