I have gluten allergies. My son is Celiac, but he wasn’t with me on this visit. You can order any of the sandwiches on a gf bun for an extra $1.50, plus they’ll check soup, salad, and chips, if you have any questions or concerns. The young man who took my order could answer all my questions off the top of his head, and I had no issues. A little expensive, but most of the sandwiches are hefty, with quite a bit of meat.

Yum!! It’s been over three 3 years since I have had schlotzsky’s due to celiacs. It was something I missed. The staff was very helpful. The gluten free bread was amazing.

Gluten free bun. Ate their twice in 2 days with gluten free bread Turkey and Bacon Club. Good food and no exposure.
Good Gluten-free bread just costly
I've eaten here multiple times now and never gotten sick with the GF bun. Do NOT order your sandwich with mustard as it contains gluten. The mayo is fine.

Nice to go into a place and see my husband have a selection to choose from.

I had the turkey and guacamole sandwich on gf bun. They use Udi's. Clean and relaxing atmosphere. I felt good when I left.
This is a great place to eat. I have not had bread due to my recent development of the allergy to gluten. I am not celiac but highly allergic, I have an epipen and everything. It has been 2 years since having good bread and this restaurant made me cry when I tried their buns. They even sell the bread/buns. Absolutely my favorite restaurant ever.

I’ve missed Schlotzsky’s for such a long time and now they have certified Udis products available and said that they actively changes gloves. The Turkey original was everything I remembered and more. They only items not GF are the BBQ sauces and the BBQ chips. I’ve eaten here twice now and haven’t had any reactions.

I had a sandwich on a gluten free bun and it was amazing! The bun was soft, and didn’t fall apart. I think they use Udis brand bread. I was told all pizzas are also available on gluten free crust as well. I did not see any protocols for preventing cross contamination so I would keep that in mind if that’s a concern for you.

This restaurant may not be good for celiacs. I ate the juicy cheddar sandwich. It tasted good going down but I had a bad stomach ache later that evening, which is a symptom of my illness.
