I’ve missed Schlotzsky’s for such a long time and now they have certified Udis products available and said that they actively changes gloves. The Turkey original was everything I remembered and more. They only items not GF are the BBQ sauces and the BBQ chips. I’ve eaten here twice now and haven’t had any reactions.

As a super sensitive, compared to other celiacs, celiac, I was able to eat here for the first time today through the drive thru and did not get sick! I asked for a gluten free deluxe sandwich, and it was a pleasant surprise. There was no conversation about preference or allergy. It was a good sandwich :)

I’ve eaten here several times and not gotten sick. HOWEVER, I don’t think I’m very sensitive to cross contamination, though I haven’t verified that. They offer basically any sandwich on a gluten free bun. They always give me my husband’s order and my order in separate bags. I give 4 stars because I don’t know much about what goes on inside the kitchen, I only know I tried another location when in a very tight pinch on a road trip and was pleasantly surprised. I decided to try one close to home and this one is actually better. If you want to try but are sensitive to CC, make sure to ask lots of questions.

They have gluten free bread and can safely make their sandwiches. I got the breakfast sandwich. I couldn’t find any other restaurant in the El Paso airport that would or could accommodate me otherwise.

Served me bread with gluten then tried telling me I must have eaten croutons on my salad without realizing it. Never going back.
