We ordered the gf pepperoni pizza and they said it's cooked in a separate pan. It was my 1st time trying their pizza and it was delicious!
They have a huge UDI gf bun... but the prep area is a mess. They also put my sandwich in a bag with the non GF sandwiches. Be careful. The sand which also had no taste. Had the beef and cheddar which should be called the lettuce and onion with a pinch of beef and a zap of cheese.
They have gluten free bread and pizza crust. It is Udi’s, so it is very good. Staff seems knowledgeable, but I’ve only ordered at the drive thru. Cracked pepper chips were good too. I’ve only had the sandwiches so I can’t speak for the pizzas here. This is hands-down my new favorite GF fast food place!
Like Scholtzsky's in Gilmer (and maybe all of them now?) they have Gluten Free bread and pizza crust. I thought it was important to add this because some of the other GF options in Mt Pleasant have limited hours. I have never spoken to any management about how they handle GF requests. I've been here a few times and sometimes the employees know and sometimes they don't. The last time I ordered I heard someone in the back sigh loudly when the order was put through for GF. To that I would say - people who have to eat GF don't like that workers have to do extra things for them, at least, I don't. (In most cases we actually pay more for you doing more on top of that, so you are being financially compensated for it.) I would guess most just want to be like everyone else. Unfortunately, we don't have that option and it sucks. I will usually not order GF if I see a place is extra busy and try to avoid busy times. Look at it this way - if you saw an elderly or handicapped person who had trouble walking and you held the door open for them - doesn't that make you feel good? Think of the people dealing with Celiac in that way as well. You are able to provide a unique service for people who have few options. Help them out and you will also feel good about yourself in the process. It's a win-win situation.
This location does not offer GF buns. The Udis logo has been manually sawed off the menu board. Salads are packed in to go container with garlic bread bread on top. Be sure to specify no bread or croutons at order. They are definitely not interested in being helpful.
pretty good. They team up with Udi's for gluten free buns and pizza dough. We had the original sandwich and it was ok. We are not big Udi bread fans, but if you are, you will probably enjoy this. They do have gluten free chips, but avoid those with seasoning. I suggest asking to be sure. We stuck with the baked.
