Had a veggie omelette and potato’s. Potato’s were cooked on a griddle vs fried.

Food was ok.

Gf bread products use a common toaster. They say they clean it, but I didn’t try.

Note they do not take credit cards. They do take US currency, but the exchange rate they used was not nice ($54 CAD to $48 US).

The waitress had celiac and told me exactly what I can/cannot eat. Was disappointed that there are no GF pancakes/waffles and no GF information on the menu. French toast is made on the same grill, so there could be cross contact. Eggs and toast were ok, nothing special.

Very disappointed with the entire experience at Scoops. The knowledge of staff was very poor regarding cross contamination. My daughter ordered gluten free toast to go alongside her breakfast, but they accidentally placed gluten toast on her plate. The server noticed when the plate was served and brought the plate back to the kitchen right away, however I then sat there and watched them just switch the toast out. The gluten toast had been sitting directly on top of her meal. They were surprised, but accommodating, when I asked them to remake the whole order. This would have been ok for me, but what made it worse was that the quality of the food Served was incredibly subpar and expensive. I would never return to this restaurant again based on our experience.

Went there for breakfast and almost all items could be made gluten free, except the waffles and pancakes. Their homefries are cooked on the griddle and even their French fries have a dedicated fryer.

I'm Celiac and this restaurant is amazing. I had eggs Benny there and it was the best I've ever eaten! And it's Gluten free, our waitress was also celiac and confirmed that celiacs are perfectly safe to eat here without worrying about cross contamination.

Excellent breakfast! I used to frequent Scoops before being diagnosed. I know they changed ownership a few years back and the new owner is Celiac. I was there today for the first time since being diagnosed, after it came up on my app as a recommendation for a safe restaurant. I identified myself as being Celiac and my waitress let me know that she, too, has CD and would ensure there was no cross contamination and that my meal would be safe for me; she got it! It was so great to be to eat without worry. I had one of the eggs Benny dishes the offer with a GF English muffin and it was so good! I definitely recommend Scoops for a delish breakfast/lunch that is GF and for their attention to food safety in order to eliminate cross contamination!

Expensive for what it is. Especially when leaving hungry. However at least I’m confident I won’t get sick. When I politely expressed my disappointment they got defensive very quick. Unsure if I will go back. Even my spouse who ate the waffles (not gf) said they were very mediocre.

They don’t have gluten-free advertised at all or GF options even listed on their menu, but I had seen it on here so I asked. They were extremely knowledgeable about cross contamination, what everything was made with. They have GF bread/toast, English muffins, hollandaise sauce, GF French toast, GF eggs Benedict. No waffles or pancakes. I got the English muffin sandwich and it was delicious! I would 100% eat here again.

When I first walked in I was nervous because it has a diner vibe and the menus say nothing about gluten. That said, when I talked to the waitress I immediately felt at ease. She was familiar with cross contamination, and she knew what sauces they make gluten free (they have gf Hollandaise!!!!!), instead of thinking that gf means gf bread. She knew that I couldn't have the French fries but the hash browns were fine because they're cooked on the grill and no gluten items are cooked on it. The food was pretty typical diner food. Tasty, greasy, satisfying.
