We had a terrible experience here tonight. I ordered for my daughter off the gluten free kids menu, chicken and chips. They asked multiple times if it was an allergy or an intolerance, which I thought was weird, why does it matter if we’re ordering off the gluten free menu. They brought out breaded chicken. I asked to confirm it was gluten free and asked what the breading was made of, the waitress said it was gluten free but she would ask what the ingredients were. She came back 15 minutes later after my daughter had eaten and said it wasn’t gluten free and that dish can’t be prepared gluten free. I ordered it off the gluten free menu so I have no idea why it would be on there if it could not be prepared gluten free. We will not be returning. There were few options to begin with and now I don’t even trust that the ones on the gluten menu are actually what they say.
Got sick not even 30 minutes after leaving the restaurant. I was really disappointed because of all the good reviews and the fact they had a dedicated gluten free menu. I don’t get very sick from just a little bit of cross contamination so something was not handled properly. This was my Valentine’s Day lunch and I was so excited for a “celiac safe” restaurant :/ still sick 5 hours later
Real gluten free menu, gf bistro steak was delicious as well as flourless chocolate torte!
