Review of Second Street Restaurant

This place makes it clear that they don't have dedicated gluten space, and that's ok for us as we have gluten sensitivities in our family, not celiac--but they claim they have gluten free rolls and breads as alternative options. I confirmed this with the waitress when we sat down--she said yes. Then I ordered a burger and she said they only have sandwich bread, not rolls. And it's an extra $2.50 charge! Who puts a burger on sandwich bread?? Even the "pre-dinner bread" was cut up slices of sandwich bread. She seemed confused at best. No gf options on kids menu at all. We would not come back, especially with the other local gf options that are here to choose from. Go down the road to Food For Thought. You'll be happier!
