This was our first visit. My daughter has celiac disease, so for her to have an entire restaurant to eat safely was amazing. First, the food - we ordered a bread basket, two Ceasars salads, chicken Parmesan, penne ala pomodoro, fettuccini bolognese and vegetable lasagna. The food was good. Portions were decent size, pasta was a little more al-dente than even I like and the sauces were not as developed as I would like. We all added lots of fresh ground pepper and Parmesan cheese. Prices were on point for GF in NYC, but because they only take Amex and cash, I was carrying A LOT of cash around in NYC (dinner for 4) - which made me nervous and made the meal less enjoyable.

It was a particularly warm night in NYC and the restaurant was sweltering hot. I had to step outside to stop sweating at one point. As is typical in NYC, the restaurant was tiny and packed tightly with tables (and people). It was dark and seemed nicely decorated. All the servers had an accent to make it feel more authentic.

Bottom line - my daughter had a nice (and safe) meal and did not get sick. Would we return? Maybe after we get an Amex card.
