For a 4-star international hotel chain’s restaurant, the overall lock of gluten knowledge from waitstaff, the manager, and chef was surprising. Nothing on the menu was marked gluten free and there no gluten free buns. the chef didn’t realize that cleaning the grill still posed a cross contamination risk. We did Sunday brunch and a dinner there while on vacation. Thankful I had cold cuts and gluten free bagels to make sandwiches up in my room!
