Missed Shake Shack so much, was so pleased to find they offer GF buns! They note and handle allergy requests properly. Fries are not safe but they are up front with that info on the website.
Yes
Staff listened to my request and I heard the kitchen staff call out for an allegory request. Changed gloves. Had a shake shack burger single in lettuce wrap. Delish
Yes
Always appreciate when they ask if it’s an allergy and mark it on the receipt to make sure they take extra precautions to keep your meal safe. Amazing fries (make sure to get the cheese) and ask for a lettuce wrap - better than a bun if you ask me
Yes
Most Shake Shack locations offer gluten-free buns for burgers. A lettuce wrap is also an option.
Burgers with GF bun or lettuce wrap are safe. Fries are made in cross-contaminated oil, so avoid.
Yes
Fries are cross contaminated. Be warned.
No
I had a burger with a GF bun - it tasted good, but the bun was mediocre quality. There's definitely better GF burgers out there that are also way less expensive

Was under the impression the fries were gluten free but was informed they were not. Just a heads up!!
— No gluten-free information on the menu
Every time we go here, all the servers are very knowledgeable about celiac and cross contamination. My (Celiac )son loves the gf burgers and has never gotten sick. The shake shack sauce does contain gluten so I always ( though I probably don’t need to) remind them to hold that.

Edit: this was one of the best burgers ive ever eaten.
Really good and celiac friendly menu. French fries has cross contamination so they came and asked me if its okay or no.

I have been ordering from this location for a while now. I usually get the burger with a lettuce wrap or a gluten free bun. Got the gluten free bun this time and they have a new, thinner bun- which I appreciate because it’s not as filling as the bigger, dense gf buns restaurants normally use.
