We order from here regularly, never got sick. Last night I was so impressed when they called me to point out that the fries are not gluten free as they are cooked in a shared fryer!

This is consistently one of my go-to places. I usually order a burger in a lettuce leaf. They have consistently been good about labeling gf ordered and keeping them separate from gluten filled food. I don’t order the fries or shakes due to cross contact risks.

Most Shake Shack locations offer gluten-free buns for burgers. A lettuce wrap is also an option.

Gluten free buns available; employee asked if it was a preference or allergy, noted allergy on my receipt and kitchen changed gloves to handle my order. They offered me fries, but I did not ask if they were in a dedicated fryer, and did not order any.

The have GF, but the kiosks are a bit sketchy. Recommend going to the counter to discuss. Edit: not safe. I do not recommend eating here even if you have a gluten pill.

Read on the celiac Reddit from a former employee that they have really good allergy precautions and gluten free workspaces/utensils to make allergy orders. I ordered two lettuce wrapped burgers for me and my daughter and a burger with a bun for my boyfriend to go. On the app there’s a selection to put your allergies and they automatically show up on your order so mine said wheat and gluten allergy. I opened up the bag of food and to my surprise right on top of the lettuce wrapped burger was my boyfriend’s burger with the bun just out in the open on top of the gluten free burgers. To say the least I will never go back there.

High risk of cross contamination, they grilled the gf bun on the same grill of the normal one. No safe
