Shake shack can make a gluten free bun burger or lettuce wrap and take precautions for cross contamination, with a selection of which items have what allergy. At this location, they used a shared fryer so the employees let me know this and we refunded the fries I ordered.

I went to Shake shack at 975 Wharf St SW, Washington DC Advertised they had gluten-free bun on the menu board… it wasn’t on the receipt nor Did the women who took my order get any of it right

Had a great first experience. Manager came out to ask about allergies (celiac, dairy and corn) he brought up the ingredient list. Was able to point us in the right direction on what was safe and marked my order as “Allergy” Fries are cooked in their own dedicated fryer, but can’t state there is no CC due to it being a shared kitchen.

Asked if I had an allergy and then called it down the line. Has GF buns. Has a dedicated fryer but fries are NOT GF. They are dipped in something before frying making them not GF.
