Very dangerous as it used to be GF destination and no longer is, though GF allergy is an option when ordering. Burger was delivered on a wheat bun, though the gf allergy clearly was on the order tab. Staff clueless and clearly not trained on what to do. This location at least does not have GF buns any longer. Avoid, sadly.

Line super long. Only had lettuce wrap for burgers **NO GF BUNS**

Both Gate B23 and Gate B37 only had wraps. Line at gate B23 was slightly shorter but slower service.

The JFK airport doesn't have anything GF, not do they know what that is. Extremely busy, extremely unsafe.

When we said I have celiacs disease the woman asked what that meant (never a great sign) and we said it meant i cant eat gluten…. Meaning bread. She said they offered lettuce wraps and when we asked about cross contamination she was super rude and said “YA LETTUCE WRAPS THATS WHY WE HAVE THEM!” So we left because she obviously had no idea about the complexities of Celiacs. We were disappointed as we have always had great experiences at Shake Shack with their GF buns. I don’t know if the staff is from the airport or shake shack’s, but I fear that if one staff member isn’t trained, it compromises the whole establishment to cross contamination.

Friendly staff, gluten free buns. Fryers for fries are not separate anymore, so dont get fries if youre celiac

The worker didn’t know a lot, and at first told me that the fries were made with gluten. Then he said they were gluten free and in a separate fryer. I have no idea about cross contamination procedures but they also had gf buns and you could indicate a gluten allergy. I got the fries but only ate half because I was nervous about getting sick before my flight.
