We ate here with my toddler who has Celiac while we were in town visiting my in laws. We have had Shane’s before in other larger cities and I know they are pretty legitimate when it comes to gluten free options. They are aware at the cooperate level and I think they train their employees pretty well. Even if the employees may not understand celiac, at least they have text book procedures that the cooks abide by. We ordered the half smoked chicken with coleslaw and salad. The menu didn’t list which dressings were gluten free so I asked them just to use one that was, our daughter is not picky about what kind. When they brought her food out, it had the Texas toast on top of it (after I had ordered off the gluten free menu and made a point to mention “no toast of course”). The waitress quickly and without hesitation took it back and they completely replaced her chicken. She was very sweet and very apologetic and said the cook was also. So I think the confusion came down the the cashier, she must not have marked it as a gluten free order. I’m not positive, however, she didn’t seem to really understand gluten free when I was talking to her. However, they were slammed (Sunday after church!), and everyone was very nice, and my daughter had a delicious meal and did not get sick one bit, so I feel safe feeding her there and we will be back.

I loved the chopped barbecue chicken, baked beans, and coleslaw. The staff seemed knowledgeable. They were quick and efficient. I will definitely return! No problems after eating there.
Shane's Rib Shack has a great gluten free menu. I ordered ribs, pulled pork, and BBQ beans. Very delicious!!

Was given a gluten-free menu. Ordered making sure both people understood. Sat down was brought out Texas toast on my ribs. Then was told they would remove the bread. Not safe at all!

My daughter has celiac and she loves it here. Not only do they have a gluten free menu they also take a lot of precautions serving and cooking the food. And the food is great! I highly recommend!

Food is lack luster. It’s definitely not any bbq. No dedicated fryer so choices are very limited.

Great service, good food. The wings with "buff-Q" sauce were amazing. Chopped pork was a little dry, I would skip it next time. Ribs were tender, and the beans and slaw were delicious.
