I visited three times this week and the staff were either knowledgeable about what was gluten free or got the information every time. There is also a sign posted at the hostess stand stating what has gluten in it (and it’s like ten things). The first night I had brisket, pulled pork and bbq chicken tacos, the second night I got ribs and brisket with two sides of creamed corn (it’s amazing), and the third night I got ribs and nachos. All of their bbq sauces are gluten free too! I highly recommend Shane’s and wish I had one near me!

The food was tasted great, the homemade sauce is gluten free, most of the side are not. The creamed corn was amazing.

Poor experience. My server did not know what was gluten free on the menu, said most things should be okay. He totally did not understand. Went with the safest thing and I ordered eggs with no toast. My dish came out with toast on top which they just said sorry and took it off my plate. At that point my whole meal was ruined and not safe. Would not recommend a meal here.

My girlfriend has celiacs, here is our experience:
The food was very good, but the establishment and server did NOT feel celiac-safe.
Server had zero knowledge of whether anything on the menu was gluten free. My girlfriend asked her if the barbecue sauce was gluten free, the server went and asked the chef and came back with “he doesn’t think so”. This is homemade barbecue sauce - there is no excuse for them to not know the ingredients.
My girlfriend ordered tacos, and specifically told the server, “if you have corn tortillas, please do soft shells, if not then hard shells”. She brought out the tacos in white soft shells, and they tasted like flour tortillas when I took a bite. When we asked the server to confirm if they were gluten free, she gave a blank stare and said “you told me they were”. Suffice it to say that my girlfriend was totally unsure whether she could even eat the food she ordered, so we packed it up and took it home for me.

Shane's had great service and the server was knowledgeable about Celiac's. Most of the sides are naturally GF as well as the mains. they offered GF buns for their sandwiches.
