My girlfriend has celiacs, here is our experience:
The food was very good, but the establishment and server did NOT feel celiac-safe.
Server had zero knowledge of whether anything on the menu was gluten free. My girlfriend asked her if the barbecue sauce was gluten free, the server went and asked the chef and came back with “he doesn’t think so”. This is homemade barbecue sauce - there is no excuse for them to not know the ingredients.
My girlfriend ordered tacos, and specifically told the server, “if you have corn tortillas, please do soft shells, if not then hard shells”. She brought out the tacos in white soft shells, and they tasted like flour tortillas when I took a bite. When we asked the server to confirm if they were gluten free, she gave a blank stare and said “you told me they were”. Suffice it to say that my girlfriend was totally unsure whether she could even eat the food she ordered, so we packed it up and took it home for me.
