Review of Shawerma Plus

If I could rate this restaurant solely on customer service and menu options, they get a 5/5. The staff were so kind, knowledgeable and gave us free hummus! The resto menu did not indicate GF options but their website expressed options exist. You also cannot beat fries from a dedicated fryer.

I sadly cannot give the same high rating for the food. We ordered the small family platter (chicken shawarma, yellow rice, salad, fries) and most of it was bland. The fries were limp and soft on first bite. The salad was missing dressing. The hot sauce tasted like siracha? The garlic sauce and hummus were excellent but is not enough for an excellent meal.

This is a decent option for GF food but we’ll be moving on to find a go-to shawarma place.
