I got the burnt end and ribs pick two. Was extremely tasty. Woman who took my order was polite and checked her cheat sheet on what I could eat. I’m an extremely reactive celiac. Husband who is vegetarian made a meal out of beans, Coldslaw and cornbread. Lots of food!!

Shawn's in Warrenton is amazing. The smoked wings with dry rub are the best I've ever had anywhere in the country. The fries have dry rub seasoning on them as well and are equally great. Potato salad and cole slaw very strong too.

Had the pulled pork and green beans. Not bad. Didn't get sick. Currently only to go due to COVID.

They said they do fry things other than fries in the fryer, depending on day...
Cashier very aware of what has gluten. Told me the fries were comingled before I could ask. The menu even loudly states their coleslaw has coconut (helpful since my friend is anaphylactic). They gave me an extra portion of coleslaw free without my asking in place of the cornbread. BTW my friend says it's some of the best cornbread in the area.

Food was great but my meal came out with a bun on it. I just ate around it but couldn’t eat half the meat :(
Really, really want to do 5, but details matter. Food was excellent. I told the girl at the counter I have Celiac. She identified what was gluten-free from a list behind the counter. I told her no roll, because the plate came with one. Food came out with the roll in the food. Didn't seem to leave any breadcrumbs behind so I accepted it. Still gonna say Celiac friendly because the menu and counter help did well. All meats and sauces are gluten-free and about 1/2 the sides.

The staff was very helpful on which sides and sauces were GF and which were not. Great food and service. Order at the counter and they bring the food out to your table.

Delicious bbq meat and plenty of sauce choices (only sassy sauce is not gluten free).
Lots of gf options. Good food

our favorite local place. they note clearly which sauces are not safe and have many gf sides. they do not have a dedicated fryer so the fries are not celiac safe. they are always helpful and willing. we eat here regularly and have never had a problem.
Meats are gluten free as well as the coleslaw, green beans, and potato salad. French fries are normally gluten free but they ran a special this week that was a breaded and fried item. So check.
