I had the gf fish and baby cakes and coleslaw. The server asked if I would like the fish and baby cakes fried in their own designated gf fryer. "Yes". It was definitely gf and tasted absolutely excellent. It's the first fish fry I've had in many years.

I have always had great luck at Shucks. It is so nice to have food with gluten free breading. My favorite is the fried calamari and I also love the po boy! My non GF family even loves the gluten free breading. Ive had just about everything on the menu that can be made GF and it’s all amazing.

All of their fried food except the onion rings have gluten free breading, so the onion rings have a separate fryer. Fish basket with baby cakes is delicious. Such a treat to have fried food. Also the spicy risotto with andouille sausage is decadent!

ABOVE AND BEYOND! I’ve eaten here many times without a problem. Staff is knowledgeable and a lot of things on the menu can be made gluten free. They even put a little stick in the food saying “GLUTEN FREE” so you know it’s safe.

AMAZING. Stopped on our way through and 100% worth it. I’m not even a seafood fan 😂 but I had fried calamari, and a cheeseburger with fries & a bun. Loved the atmosphere also and didn’t get sick. Dedicated fryer. A+ food.

This place is amazing! Large gluten free menu which the staff is very versed in. They all seemed to know how important the 'dedicated frier' is. Also has a lot of gluten free appetizers which is nice. A hidden gem for sure.

They had the cutest little toothpicks on the food to indicate it was gluten free. These were the best wings ever, hands down, gluten free or not! The staff was knowledgeable about being gluten free and they had an extensive menu, including fried catfish and po’boy sandwiches with gluten free bread Yum!

Attention Citizens! Excellent! Im a Celiac Superhero and was able to eat breaded fish and chips. I highly suggest the baby cakes. Most importantly....one of the only places I can have gluten free hot wings!!!!!! Will definitely become a regular! They use dedicated fryers for gluten free and have a huge gluten free menu to boot. - Miss G-Free

Service and food were both great! Shared GF calamari appetizer with my husband -- HUGE portion and perfectly cooked. Had GF fish and chips with baby cakes (like mashed, fried tater tots) and cole slaw for my meal. Also perfectly cooked, and not the least bit greasy.
