The menu is almost entirely GF, so lots of food options. I’ve never been glutened here. However, the food I’ve gotten is hit or miss for taste and flavor. I’ve gotten soup and salad rolls that were totally inedible (the soup was sickening sweet, the salad rolls tasted like dish soap), and noodle dishes that tasted… weird. The only reason I’ve ordered again after the gross meals because I’ve had delicious meals here, too.
(This is not my review, but I found it online. I plan on eating there next week and will provide my own review after that.)
The food and drinks are amazing. Plus I have celiac disease and must eat gluten free. I have never gotten sick at Siam Lotus. Highly recommended
Our entire family has celiac and none of us has ever been glutened here. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful with no judgement.
Siam Lotus is our favorite nice dinner out. Avoid deep fried because of possible cross-contamination, but most other dishes can be safely eaten. That said, they are not dedicated or certified GF, so be thoughtful if you're unable to eat food in a non-gf dedicated restaurant.
So good! Because they use tamari and all their noodles are rice noodles even the stir fries and noodle dishes are safe. Great flavor and I got to eat a favorite dish I haven’t had since my diagnosis. The server recommended not having the fried dishes because of possible contamination for a person with Celiac. I will be going back… maybe tomorrow…
The staff was super knowledgeable and the food was wonderful. They definitely understand the assignment. Delicious. Quick. Affordable. And safe. No reactions.
They use all Tamari sauce so you don't have to worry about specifically changing the soy sauce for an order to make it gluten free. You can even have their chicken wings (it's rice flour instead of gluten-full breading). Wow!
Love this place!!! There aren't very many nice restaurants in Beaverton and this is our go-to. The service is great, the atmosphere is nice, and the food is fantastic. Lots of GF options! And when the weather is nice, they open up window/wall which is nice.
Best Thai food in Beaverton (or Portland for that matter!) as well as great curries and Asian dishes. We're are not celiac, but gluten-intolerant and always looking for places with tasty food.
I can't say for certain it's celiac-friendly, since I don't know if they have a dedicated gluten-free area, but it's definitely safe for intolerance and dietary preferences. Delicious, fresh food! Fair prices, superb service - we'll be back <3
