Dedicated fryer!!! Great food and surprisingly reasonable prices. And they’ll make you a burger with a lettuce wrap or on a bed of lettuce. The staff are busy and sometimes surly but they know about celiac and allergies, and they don’t toast buns on the same part of the grill as burgers. I’ve eaten here half a dozen times and have never gotten sick. I haven’t explored the (amazing sounding, Slavic soul food) menu any further yet. Don’t be put off by the location — it’s a dingy kitchen window in the back of a dark, often loud bar, but there’s a little dining area behind the bar that’s usually quieter. Even when there’s an event with a cover, you can get in to the restaurant for free just by telling the door person where you’re going. The kitchen is open 5pm-midnight all week. They do takeout but often don’t answer the phone, maybe because it’s too loud?
