This is a great bakery. Food is so good. They do offer gluten free options so it’s great if it’s just a dietary preference. Unfortunately, it’s not celiac safe. I spoke to them when I was looking for options for my child and the woman on the phone said both locations could have cross contamination. Everything is made on site for both locations, and that includes gluten free and non-gf items. The woman said it would not be safe for someone with celiac, and I truly appreciated her honesty.

Absolutely incredible bakery! Multiple GF options: two cookies (chocolate chips & ginger molasses), a peanut butter & jelly cake, & all the macarons ! A perfect alternative to the other ice cream spots in town( not that you can ever go wrong with ice cream, just nice to change it up !)

Beautiful bakery surrounded by lots of shops and near the drawbridge over the Mystic River. Only two GF bakery options: chocolate chip and gingersnap type cookies. The cookies were large and pretty, but fell short on taste. At $10 for two cookies, I expected more, but I'm grateful to have any options at all. The young man who helped me was knowledgeable and very friendly, and the overall atmosphere was very pleasant. I would recommend Sift.

The molasses cookie is huge, and the right combination of chewy and soft. Delicious! Macarons are gf also but not my favorite to begin with anyway

The gluten free cookies are delicious! And the staff are great - I was asked if I had a gluten allergy when I ordered a gf cookie and she changed her gloves because she had just separately bagged my husband's regular order. Staff even knew which macaroon was not gf and clearly identified it for me. A must stop when we're in downtown Mystic!

I was able to order a chocolate chip cookie - which was huge!!! - and delicious - it has flaky sea salt on it - so good! And I had macarons as well. I highly recommend the chocolate chip cookie. The macarons were just Ok.

They have two gluten free cookie options that are yummy and huge. They also make their personal granola that is gf and I highly recommend. Aside from these options the gf choices are limited, however it’s definitely worth checking out for them and the coffee

There are a few GF options and they are delicious ones! The chocolate chip cookies are INSANE! Macarons are also very good!

Gf and df cookies !!! And two kinds ! Love !

The staff were helpful in letting me know that the gluten free cookies were probably not celiac safe, as they are made in a shared facility and displayed near regular cookies. She said they were looking to change their process to make it celiac safe in the future so check in with them if you are visiting. My non celiac partner got the macaroons and said they were delicious.

Cute little bake shop next to Pizzetta( with gf pizza and wings) had a few delicious sweets. They had yummy macaroons in bright yummy flavors and chocolate sea salt toffee. However, like an average small French bakery, everything is made there do if you're Celiac, it's a no go. The worker was good about saying "they're flour in the air". But yummy and nice people!
