Enjoyed my Savory Blueberry Pizza on their yummy, crispy, gluten free pizza crust! Slightly difficult to find the restaurant as it is attached to Bushes grocery store and Google Mapd said it was on the other side of the road. Worrh the confusion to get there. Highly recommend and I will go back!
Best gluten free pizza I have ever had! We had the truffle pizza with added prosciutto. Staff was knowledgeable and when they didn't know the answer, they would find out immediately. Their gluten free crusts are hand-made, not frozen. They assured me of extra precautions they take regarding cross-contamination. My boyfriend had the Bloody Silvio drink, minus the Worcestershire, which included their marinara sauce and is was excellent! We plan to go back to order pizzas to take home with us.
Pizza was crispy and cheesy and very good. I felt fine afterward. The restaurant is employee-owned, and the staff was happy to tell me about the measures they take to control cross-contamination.
Silvio's is known for a range of organic and gluten-free pizzas, desserts and vegetarian and vegan options. All the staff members are very knowledgeable about Celiac Disease and gluten sensitivity, including the owner Silvio, who is from Italy's Abruzzo region. Silvio has often come to speak with customers who dine in and order gluten-free pizza to make sure their experience is satisfactory. Everything is made from wholesome organic ingredients, is incredibly fresh, and innovative with f lavor profiles such as Brie Cheese Pizza, Smoked Mozzarella Truff le Pizza, Fresh Arugula Pizza and the Sweet Dream Pizza topped with a custard cream, nutella and powdered sugar. As with most organic food, it's a bit more expensive than conventional items, but can be an indulgence worth the price.
owners are VERY friendly, and accommodating. G.F.Pizza crust was really, really crunchy, very hard to eat. Gnocci was excellent! (but not g.f.)
Staff is knowledge, however they are NOT celiac friendly. They informed us that the pizza is cooked uncovered in same oven as other pizza. They said Celiac people will probably have a problem because if flour in the air. I appreciate the honesty, but cannot recommend them
Their gluten free pizza was one of the better ones I have tried. The atmosphere was good and the people friendly. The beer (according to my brother) was so good it had an aftersmell. Will definitely come back if I am ever in the area again!
Pizza that was wonderful, organic AND gluten free. What more could you want. Crispy crust and top quality ingredients. You cannot do better.
