Sandwiches were great! They use Udi’s bread and have a ton of sandwich options that are gluten free. I’m also allergic to dairy and they were easily able to accommodate. You need to call in to place your order right now due to covid. No dine-in or counter serve option. There is a table on the side of the building where they drop the orders once they are ready.

Had a great sandwich and will definitely be back. I called the day before to discuss safety measures and whoever answered the phone was VERY know, has celiac herself, and assured me of the precautions they take. Just note allergy on the order and they will use separate, clean utensils and make sandwich on paper and cook on foil. They have a gf painini maker as well. Will definitely be back when we travel to Saranac/Placid.

All sandwiches are made with Boars Head meat and GF bread is available. Always accommodating, they clean their station and take great care preparing my sandwiches. Their restaurant in the same building, The Dack Shack is great too!

Pricey! But what isn't in this area. You can get a sandwich for about $9. You get the sandwich, no chips, no pickle, nothing. However, the bread is great and they are very aware with gluten free. They did offer a soup but I didn't try it. It was a tomato basil. I did purchase the one gf dessert which was a lava cake topped with a chocolate truffle. It was very rich. It was $6.

Have always loved it here and am very glad to see how accommodating they are. All meats and condiments are Boarshead so they are gluten free. They ask if it is a preference or allergy and clean the station prior to making your sandwich if it is an allergy.

They are located in the old Howard Johnson now. Look for the 'Dack Shack. Directly across the road from Desperado's.

Stopped in at the new location. They didn't have any gluten free wraps so I got it on gluten free bread. The sandwich was tasty and the bread was good. Not dry and crumbly. Little pricey but I expected that. You can also buy loaves of gluten free bread in the freezer. I would eat here again.

When I was there they were all out of gluten free bread, but the gluten free wrap was good and they had a screened in porch which was nice to have lunch on.

All Boars Head deli. So you know it's the best. Rolls are great. So many choices and they have Chocolate desserts. And they are SUPER helpful. If I'm back here to Lake Placid, I'm so here!

Would give a five rating if they had more bread or roll choices.
