A definite 5-Star experience during my first visit to this restaurant! It’s the only restaurant that I’ve visited that truly offers all 3 courses with GF options! Since my CD diagnosis almost 2 years ago, I haven’t found any good GF onion rings and batters. This place rocked it!!!

Ordered fish and chips and told the server I was celiac and just wanted to make sure everything I ordered was ok. They said yes. I asked again when the food arrived as the fries clearly were crispy fries with a coating. Again they said yes gluten free. I ate it and the same night the cold sores appeared (my telltale sign) and the exhaustion as well. Disappointed as I thought I found a safe place to eat.

Wow this place is AMAZING! As a person with Celiac Disease, they assured me they had dedicated fryers. The Fish n Chips were to die for! The service was fantastic, one of the owners Jay even came to our table, gave us some history of the establishment and recipe for the batter. Amazing quality and quantity for food for a very reasonable price and the best part…we didn’t pay any extra for Gluten Free, like 99% of restaurants do…same price for “regular” same price for “gluten free”… Definitely recommend you eat here! Next trip to Alberta, Sir Winston’s is 100% on the menu! Yummmmm⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

10 out of 10 would recommend any celiac to go to this restaurant! As soon as I said gluten free the chef and the co-owner Came to my table and and explained all of their procedures to me procedures to me. They have a completely different section in the kitchen to prepare the gluten free fish, chips, onion rings etc. Chef is very knowledgeable about cross contamination, does the proper safety measures in order to avoid it such as different Utensils, changing gloves seperate fryer (obviously). The fish and chips were so good I honestly was skeptical and worried I would get sick! But no reaction whatsoever!!! The co owner chatted with me for 20 minutes after the meal about the history of why they decided to offer gf. So good I will definitely be going back!!

I ordered from skip the dishes and was pleasantly surprised to find all the food marked gluten free on the packaging that was safe for me so we didn’t have to play “guess which food will make Sarah sick!” Also it was amazing!! Our first time getting take out since my children have been diagnosed as Celiac. I called to inquire about the risk of cross contamination and was very much reassured. The owner took the time to explain all the precautions they take as well as the care they take selecting Celiac safe ingredients. They take it seriously and I really appreciate it!! Tasted great and tons of food! Enough for supper again the next night. I highly recommend this place.

Gluten free batter was light and crispy and fried in a dedicated gluten fryer. Will definitely go back to try their other offerings such as gluten free onions rings and pies

Half my family is celiac so we ordered the family haddock GF version of the F&C’s - and wow.

Probably the best F&C’s in Edmonton - even better than all the non-GF F&C’s in town.

The owner even gave us a youth discount- so not only great tasting, but great price!!

Fish and Chips are fantastic, cooked GF. Many other menu items can be made GF. The owner told us he is working on additional new GF items. I've eaten here twice with No gluten reaction. Food is Excellent!! Five Star for sure.
