No gluten free menu, but female diners beware
My mother and I were treated very badly by the staff and owner
All of our food was brought at the same time and the check was too the waiter didn’t even really want to wait on us and had a lot to say about having to wait on two women. And he thought we couldn’t understand him while he kept saying it wasn’t right us being there without a man. Jokes on him I speak Punjabi and Hindi .
The owner came over before we had even had a bite and said “ please hurry we have a big party coming “
So we took everything to go and flat out refused to even return and warn others away
The tiki masala was good BUT the bread made me sick. I asked if there were gluten-free breads available. I was told that there were two options (I believe I had the roti). It didn’t seem like it was when it came out so I asked the server again for confirmation that it was in fact gluten-free and he assured me that it was. I started to eat it but then started having symptoms so I stopped. Again, I asked the server if he was sure that it was gluten-free and he said that it was. I figured it was in my mind so I continued to eat but my symptoms only continued to get worse. I actually looked closer at the bread to find that it was covered in flour. I told the server when he came at the end of meal and he apologized and said that he would not charge me for it. Although that was a nice gesture had I been celiac this could have been a disaster. Fortunately for me I will just be sick a couple days...
The tikka masala was gluten free & delicious. I have celiac and felt great after eating here. We will definitely be going again. Not all the waiters understand what gluten is but the owner does and he's the best one to ask to explain the menu.
