My friends and I went to Sitti about a month ago for something different.
Pros: There was a decent amount of gluten-free options and the staff was extremely knowledgeable about gluten and allergen safety.
Cons: The food gluten-free (and non-gluten-free according to my friends) was just not that great, especially for the price.
Downtown parking isn't great.
— Gluten-free items are marked on the main menu
Great GF options and great food. Dedicated fryer and knowledgeable staff
Pros: GF items clearly marked; informed wait staff; dedicated fryer; safe
Cons: given all the terrific Mediterranean in the area, just not that great, esp for the price point.
Gluten-free marked on main menu.
Phenomenal selection. Server was well versed om what was gluten free including the specials. Many of the options are gluten free or can be made gluten free (subbing out the sitti rice that has noodles in it). They were very accommodating and this celiac did not get sick. (I did not order anything fried.)
Kebab and French fries are gluten free. The rice is not safe for people with celiac.
Gluten free marked on menu--includes dips, falafel, meats!
Great food. Went here for lunch today. Waitress was well versed on menu items and with some substitutions was able to make a meal not listed as GF to be so. The big item is that most entrees are served with their namesake rice which is not GF, but sub in basmati and may make most entrees GF.
Just ate here. Excellent chicken kabob. Make sure to request the basmati rice (the other rice includes gluten). The server never checked on us after serving our food, which is the reason for only 4 stars. So far so good on feeling well after eating. I did not order anything fried, as the other reviewers warned against it.
Got sick twice after eating here despite assurances. They bake their own pita bread so flour is everywhere. No go for me.
love their food but get sick every time I eat here & I only order GF items, not fried. I think it's cross contaminated from bread baking. if you can eat gluten food is delicious.
The waitress came back after taking our order to warn me that the fryer could be cc'ed. I didn't changed my order but should have. I paid for it later.
The manager is GF. Just be aware that anything marked GF that is fried is in a shared fryer. Only reason I took away one star.
Great options. HOWEVER fries are marked gluten free but are made in a shared fryer.
Great place for a night out - GF items on menu are clearly marked, and there are a lot of options. I highly recommend the halloumi and dates small plate - delicious!
Gluten free falafal and veggies were great. Good service and friendly servers,...
