Mehhh... If your only allergy is gluten, you’ll probably be OK. I was told that the owner is gluten-free & that they take GF needs seriously. However, if you want a great GF experience or have multiple allergies, you may want to skip it. They don’t have GF breads or buns & I did not see anything about a dedicated fryer. GF items were marked on the menu. The menu on the website did not match the menu in-house. I checked the menu online before we arrived, but the dish I planned to order was no longer on the menu when we got there. I explained my allergies to the waitress & gave her a card with all my sensitivities & allergies listed. She said she would show it to the cook. I could not have my second choice dish - chicken Marsala- b/c I asked that they hold the bacon . (I am very allergic to pork.) Apparently, the Marsala sauce was pre-made with the bacon already included. For my 3rd choice, I picked a turkey sandwich, hold the bacon & cheese (due to my pork allergy & dairy sensitivity) on a lettuce wrap since there were no GF buns. The waitress came to the table again to confirm that I wanted the sandwich w/o cheese; I said , “yes, no cheese.” The turkey came to the table w/melted cheese. I did not point it out b/c we were headed to a show, there was no time to re-make it, & I can tolerate a small amount of cheese. I just tried to eat around it. This was our first visit to Sixth & Vine. We were in town for an event. I would not go back without trying other places in Winston-Salem first.
