Review of Ski Shores Cafe

Cute! Excellent Service! Great Lunch! We pulled up in our boat with our dog (yes they're dog friendly too) and tied up to the dock, excellent access, we didn't even need our bumpers, the dock was fully equipped with up-cycled fire hose bumper and dock lines. As a Celiac I figured that was where my good experience would end and that I was taking my life in my hands at this quaint, adorable 1950's style lakeside restaurant. Nima and Kind bars in hand, I soldiered in figuring maybe I could eat a salad with some nuts from my purse. They proved me wrong! They had the best, freshest, Udi's Gluten Free Bun I've ever eaten, making a really great cheeseburger, they offered a side salad instead of fries. Used my Nima tester (trust but verify), my Nima was all smiles, they made me a true Gluten Free meal! Totally unexpected from a lakeside restaurant like this. We all felt powered up after lunch and we kept surfing and having fun. Wow! Thank you Ski Shores Cafe!Tacos can be made gluten free, burgers and salad too. They're adding a gluten free Greek salad. As always, ask questions, speak to a manager to gain a comfort level. Oddly, the server was knowledgeable about gluten but not wheat. Once she understood what I was asking, she was very knowledgeable about what I needed.
