Wowsers that was pretty great. Everything is fried in a dedicated tapioca flour fryer. Fried pickles! Great burnt ends! Big selection. Gf banana pudding! And pretty high end place. Really impressive. It was packed+ at lunch. Obviously popular.

Horrible reaction. I had asked server multiple times asking to insure it is GF because I am very sensitive. I had the pulled pork and vegetables and became horribly sick later on the in the evening. Do not recommend. Cross contamination is something they are not concerned with.

I had eaten pulled pork ( assured it was GF) here before and gotten a reaction. This time I got chicken. It was not only delicious, but server assured me the cook would change gloves. Next day, NO reaction. I had cucumber salad and Brunswick stew too

The fried appetizers on the gluten-free menu are fried in a shared fryer. They tried to convince me they’re gluten free because they’re coated with tapioca starch, despite the shared fryer. Not celiac safe. We got sick.

The food was excellent. I added a picture of their gluten free menu. I had the brisket which was very good. The fried green tomatoes were amazing!
Only 3 stars because of the service. My MIL accidentally knocked over her glass of water. The server made us all order before doing anything and then she came back a minute later and just dropped a pile od cleaning rags on the table and walked away. Later my husband had to go find someone to come take away the wet rags.

Meat and pimento grits are awesome, no reactions! They change their menu so the last guys right he said that the waiters don’t always know what’s gluten-free but they have a gluten-free menu that’s behind the bar, ask for it. There are a ton of things that are gluten-free and I have celiac and have never gotten sick and eat here weekly.

Went here for a work dinner. The waiter told me nothing was Gluten-Free. After checking again he said the chicken was GF and ok. I had the chicken and mashed potatoes and collard greens. All was good and I didn't get sick but very few options and not good for someone with Celiac. I'm giving this to stars however because the chicken was really tasty as were the sides.
We got sick here several times before realizing they're not sure if their menu is GF. Despite their menu saying all kinds of things including their meats and sauces are GF we were told they're not. Well they're not sure because there are ingredients from other countries. We were basically told in around about way the Chef/Owner told us to leave. He cared more about keeping the secret of his secret ingredients then being sure if people were going to get sick or not. Anyone in the food industry should have keeping people alive as their top priority not their ego!

The food is not that great. There are much better BBQ restaurants in the area that also have gluten free items.
If you have a real allergy to gluten or have CD, steer clear of this place. Within half an hour of eating there last night, I was experiencing SEVERE symptoms. My husband called the manager to inform him, and the manager made it clear he couldn't care less. He said it must be cross-contamination, then offered us a free dinner but no promise that they would handle the food properly. Stay away unless you enjoy being sick and in pain.

The food is good when you can get what you ask for. Several times we've had to send food back because it wasn't prepared as requested. Servers will act like it's too much to ask when we place special requests even though the Manager happily obliges. The service inconsistency is why we finally gave up on Smoke Jack.
Great upscale BBQ joint. Plenty of GF options so you have choices! The BBQ is fantastic-smoky, tender and juicy. And the cocktails-totally enjoying the Thoroughbred on the back patio.
Good food, good choice of GF BBQ items. Most sides are GF. GF items indicated on the menu.
