I had a bad experience the previous day in Disneyland so I brought a sandwich to california adventure. However, I got fries and the chef brought them out to me when they were done. The fries were fried in a separate fryer and I feel perfectly fine after.

Not the best-tasting meal at DCA but cast members were wonderful and very thorough. I had a Double Impossible Cheeseburger and an orange on the side. The only unfortunate thing about eating with celiac or an allergy at Disney is you need to speak with a cast member about your restrictions so mobile ordering is kinda off the table, so we had to wait quite a while to order food here

I had the salad from the GF menu and when I ordered, two chefs came out to answer my questions. The salad was tasty although not very fresh but that's what you would expect in a Fast Food restaurant in Disneyland.

This was a perfect spot for dinner! Two of us got the gluten free chicken sandwich and it was delicious. They also offer gluten free crinkle cut fries. It is available for mobile order on the app and comes out marked with an allergy tag. It came out of a separate part of the kitchen and was prepared separately as well. Neither of us got sick! Very yummy:)

Wow! We were SO impressed. They have lots of gluten free items, which are marked. As soon as I told them I was celiac they insisted on getting the chef from the back, who then talked me through the whole menu. They reassured me their staff are well trained with allergies and would prepare my foot separately, change gloves, etc.
I got the double cheese burger with fries (safe fryer!) and the frozen cola with rum. I asked the chef if the drink was gluten free (as I was worried about possible random ingredients) and she not only said yes but also explained how the hoses directly connect to the liquor bottles and don’t share with anything but the frozen coke. The staff then made sure to literally show me them putting on new gloves, tell me they put in new gloves, and then proceeded to grab my cup and make my drink. Which trust me, is not something I asked for nor would expect!! As they don’t touch anything with the drink, but nonetheless it made me feel very reassured that the kitchen would take my food just as seriously.
The food itself was absolutely delicious, albeit not healthy haha. Fries were simple but yummy. Had no reactions at all. Oh, and my food came out with the allergy stick :)

I’m disappointed to see this place has some bad reviews from 4-5 years ago since it’s become our “go to” place when Disney is crazy and we need a safe meal. They have definitely improved since then!
We have eaten here multiple times (10+) in the last 2 years and never gotten sick. We order the burger and fries - they are delicious BTW! We do mobile ordering too. The chef brings out the food and can answer questions if needed. I feel confident that those with celiac disease can safely eat here.

Great place for a Mobil order at Disney California Adventure. I had a double cheeseburger and fries. The chef delivered my item when I went to pick it up at the counter. My burger was tagged with the allergy stick. I found the burger to be tasty and really loved the gluten-free bun.

I had a great experience here! Dedicated allergy fryer and they grabbed all the condiments from the back! I got a kids cheeseburger with French fries, super good.
Yes
Love that they have a dedicated frier and it was brought out separately on a tray by a kitchen staff member so there was not any cross contamination.
We spoke directly to the manager Teresa and she was exceptional. She let us know our options and sat with the cashier to make sure she put our order in correctly. She also personally made all four of our items. My husband, son and daughter had a hamburger with gluten free bun and waffles fries ( separate frier) and I had the chicken sandwich in a lettuce wrap ( Celiac plus yeast allergy). She also handled the condiments by prepping us fresh items since the normal ones are served buffet style and not safe for Celiacs. She was wonderful and we loved our lunch. So thankful.

This is my go to place for lunch. Have gluten and dairy allergies and ate here multiple times for lunch. Be sure to consult with chef instead of just ordering off menu. Best part is a dedicated fryer, so fries are ok to eat. Another tip when ordering is ask for condiments like lettuce, tomato, etc to come from back, as the bar is a free for all of cross contamination.
Yes
Have eaten here twice before and loved the food- They note your allergy at the counter, but if you have concerns you can ask to speak directly to the chef that will handle your food. My burger was brought to me by the chef that made it separate from the others. It came with no toppings (they have toppings station out front by the condiments) but I asked the chef if he would mind grabbing me some lettuce/tomato from the back where there wouldn't be a cross-contamination risk. The fries are fried in a separate fryer, (soy is in the oil blend) my only complaint was the gf bun was really dry and dense... I ended up only having one side of it with my burger and lettuce over the top, but overall my meal was really good! Disney has always been great with my allergies- if your burger comes without an allergy pick or tag on it just make sure to ask the chef who made it to be certain it's really GF.
Yes
Mixed review- we got a burger and fries and were fine. However, poor little kid next to us got a burger on a regular bun after being told it was GF. Poor thing, found out 3 bites in. Staff had no idea the damage they just did. Celiacs beware.
Ordered 2 gluten and dairy free hamburger and french fry meals for my Celiac daughter and myself (gluten intolerant and dairy allergy). The receipt notated gluten and dairy allergies. Confirmed twice when I was handed my food that the hamburger buns were gluten and dairy free. I was told twice that they were. I sat down and looked at the buns and thought it looked too good to be gluten free so I brought the burger back and asked a THIRD time if this was a gluten free hamburger bun because they looked too good to be gluten free. The food server at the counter checked with someone in the back and confirmed that it WAS a gluten free hamburger. We started to eat and a few minutes later, a worker came over to our table and said they made a mistake and the buns were only dairy free and not gluten free. Not sure how they could have possibly messed this up since the receipt noted the allergies and i asked THREE separate times to make sure it was a gluten free hamburger bun. Daughter's first trip to Disneyland was ruined by careless workers at this restaurant.

Excellent gf. Separate fryer for French fries, highly sensitive, excellent hamburger. Didn't get sick.
The staff was not knowledgeable. I was here last year and they had a chef come out immediately and help. I’ve got multiple allergies and after asking twice about allergy items they just handed me a menu. I had to specifically ask for a chef, but they couldn’t accommodate for 3 allergies. Wheat eggs nuts. That’s not even a hard request. Avoid this place, staff not knowledgeable.

Very yummy bacon burgers and waffle fries. Ask for Chef. All gf desserts (brownies and chocolate chip cookies) contain dairy. Highly recommend!

Really good burgers! And great waffle fries from a dedicated fryer. Chef came out to chat with me before my order.
Order taker made notes of “allergy” and we had a great experience.

Gluten-Free Menu! Had a Bacon Cheeseburger and GF fries and didn’t get sick. Nice to eat somewhere with the whole family.

Great gluten free buns! Dedicated kitchen space prepared by a specific chef. They did only make one of our burgers gluten free which we pointed out immediately (they have label tooth picks saying allergy) and they resolved immediately (they misread the ticket). Happy to have options.

I was able to get a burger and fries (dedicated frier). The chef came out to talk to me and personally brought me my food.
Gluten free burger on a gluten free bun , chef came out . Took order , cooked it and delivered it. Dedicated fryer for fries. Very good burger and fries. . Did not get sick.
Yes
Okay food - but glad of gf bun and fries option!
Buns were hard as a rock and there was absolutely nothing without vinegar or corn syrup to put on the bun. I have a severe nightshade allergy and it did not say they put paprika on the chicken. Very disappointed.
dedicated fryers and good burgers! All of the desserts are in sealed bags.good place to eat and not get sick.
